As a note..Getting into an HNMLS is not the solution to your finacial woes..Their is definately a cost associated with being in an HNMLS. example: Top gear that is purchasable, many silent oils unless your a mage,plenty of food as death is quite common in certain events and HNM and so on.

ooo that makjes me said because im gonna need vassago's scythe very soon and only have like 90k and its like 800k i think i cant remember and i also need to get snipers rings and that makes me sad so what a great way to make money because i just suck at the gam because i have been playing over a year aim poor as hell and my highest lvl is a 56 DRK and other people are just like 10times better then me so i need to do somthing about this lol well thx

This is what you need to do, forget the HNMLS for a little while (ok for a long time), being a DRK is hard and can be expensive and there are so many intricate ways in which HNMLS's work that you could make gil depending on how the LS works. Most LSs work on a point system where you lot on gear that will benefit you to help the LS become stronger. An HNMLS may and may not be a way to become rich.

You need to invest that 90k on lvl 40 gear and do Royal Jelly BCNM if you have 40+ beastmen's seals and have a mage(RDM works best) and a melee(mostly all melee work) friend. This BCNM is easy and if you are lucky you will make 500k+ in gil Utsusemi:Ni and Erase scrolls may drop, least I have made is 100k, so you can get your gil back from the gear.

Dont spend the gil on gear but on a couple of crafts, read this thread for further assistance and encouragement on making gil on a craft.

The funny thing is that if there wasnt a refresh spell there wouldnt be RDMs either. Just food for thought for people that think one job is better than the other, I can see how boring it would be to sit there and be a mana battery for hours depending on the HNM.

HNM LS doesn't make you rich. HNM LS only gives you rare/ex items that's otherwise unobtainable. High level (usually rich and capable) people band together and form HNM LS to take down more challenging NMs for both rare items and bragging rights, not for money.

In fact HNM LS is actually a money sink. Spending hours in Sky killing HNMs for rare/ex items actually takes time out of crafting/farming. If you want money, go farm/craft. There's no way around it.

90% of the time, items that HNM LS seek are rare/ex which you cannot redeem for money. Rest of thje drops are split between all the raid members which adds up to chump change. Some drops will actually cost you money to use. To use item abjurations, you have to pay money to buy your own cursed gear. Cursed gear are high level craft items that cost from 300k to multi-millions. Once you uncursed a cursed gear, it's rare/ex and bound to you. Again you cannot resell.

People join HNM LS because they are rich and only thing they want is rare/ex drops from gods. HNM LS did not make them rich. If you tries to join a HNM LS in hope of getting rich, you will be very disappointed.

IMHO i think you can make money but not to expect million gil in return of joining HNM LS
like seriph said that HNM LS is consists of hi level and rich people, but actually not that so, its from medium to rich people joining HNM LS of course they all got hi level job.

But with joining HNM LS you could get some decent amount of gil by hunting HNM together (i.e. Serket the most popular HNM which drops good selling ring), then you can split the gil after the ring sold, or you can even go with your LS doing BCNM i think the worm one is the best not the jelly one^^.

It's not the really main source to get million gil tho, you can get some additional gil to your pocket doing those things along with HNM LS members. Good luck on racing to 70 ^^

i know of several LSs where members make money.

loot/sell/split very nice coin... paycheck every week, makes up for the time spent in SKY raids.

as far as DRKs in HNMLSs, honestly they arent a high demand job... but it could be worst, you could be a DRG looking for an HNMLS =/
