Will somebody help me get DRG?Follow
I REALLY wanna become a DRG, and I need a PL'er to help me reach lv. 30, so I can get DRG. Please /tell Aevileth if you're willing to help me!
Please don't become a DRG if you're gonna be as lazy about it as you are about WAR. We get enough bad press already.
If however, you get up to 30 off your own merits and get that damn suubjob levelled, I'd be happy to help you with the DRG flag quest.

PL to 30 from 23! are u F-in nuts. I agree with the last post. Get to 30 on your own and level your sub and then if u need help with the flag i may join
I'll help you with killing the dragon. As a dragoon your gonna have alot of tough times. Get good gear and learn to use drg. Good luck and /salute to a soon drg.
Lol, Sorry guys, i was actually just joking about the PL'ing from 23 to 30...sorry, but I will lvl WAR to 30, then I will need help fighting the dragon...
Ok I can kill the dragon on my own but any help would be nice. Just stay away from the dragon. The quest is easy just time consuming. Also enjoy the cutscenes and story its a really awesome quest.

I must agree that was the better of the stories for the advanced jobs. Last time I fought that guy I was a level 36Drg/war did it with a 45ish Rng/nin. I'd love to see how my Mnk would handle him, look me up!
Alright! thanks, Shykin, I'll look you up to defeat the dragon...but, yes, I will take in all of your guys' advice and will learn to give DRGs a good name!
I've had been killed by Cyranuse once before, because for some reason the 51 paladin could get through and the 42 DRG died because he wasn't wearing any armor. Next morning, killed Cyranuse, got the DRG. The battle is kind of hard. I hope you have fun with DRG, I know I will when I level it that is.
Rasen is right. Dragoons do have bad press about them. Just be sure to *always* keep up-to-date gear and a leveled subjob. I can't recommend this enough. My recommendation for you is to concentrate on accuracy gear most of all and DEX afterward.
As for killing the dragon when you hit 30, sure. Give me a /tell sometime in the game. I love smacking Cyranuse around a bit after what he did to my wyvern. >.> >.<

Man I believe you are on my friendlist...from when or where I don't know...so you wanna be a DRG...kk send me a tell in-game and I will be glad to go kill it for ya...I want a chance to beat the record time anyways was shy 10 sec's last time I tried...

If only I had my PS2 with me right now, I can help u no problem. I beat him countless times, just for helping out my friends who want to get the job.
Aevil your on my flist, you added me to it when I was playing as varine. I really wanna fight him and beat him. What level are we?
Ah, I see! Well, I am lvl 23 WAR/ 9MNK....so, yeah..but I REALLY want to be a DRG...
You've already got plenty of people helping probably lol... but if all else fails, I'll lend a hand. I bet I could get my static DRG to come too, it'll hardly take any time at all :)
Good god man, get your subjob up to speed! You don't even have Counter yet O_O! And your only 2 levels from Double Attack.
Counter + Double attack = Gailen + War for Life.
But you want to be a Dragoon. Can't blame you, they rock :)
Seriously though, spend the time to get Monk up at the bare minimum to level 10. Even then, you're missing 5 levels of HP and stats, and the Dodge ability by the time you hit 30, so you'll want Monk up to 15 if you want to get the most out of Warrior.
Yeah, its a pain in the ***, but its worth it :)

Not talking you down in any way. Think of this as an advice from a seasoned player. But DRG is not a good job choice at all if you are aiming for the end game contents.
DRGs could easily out damage any melee jobs short of MNK in the low and mid level range. (1-60) But DRG is at a disadvantage once the high level melee equipments kicks for other jobs. Also DRGs are not wanted in Sky raids or NM raids. Almost all raid NMs have very high physical resistance, rendering most melee jobs ineffective compared to ranged damage jobs. I have no idea what's SE thinking (or not). But DRG is definately one of the more underpowered job in the game in the end game context.
