so i go online when i was a little drunk (ya i know) and i get this tell..."Hello, would you be interested in me making your Sniper's Ring a +1??" well me being a little in the bag....said yes....you all can guess what happened....i am now without a ring....it happened in Jeuno and this was a mule...by the name of Lajaa...if anyone knows whos mule this is....please post who it is, you would be helping me a lot, even though im pretty much SOL
This scam has been going on for at least three months now, and it's people with names like Rajaa Lajaa Majaa and a couple other patterns too. They offer to take your very expensive items and make them HQ. Then certain people fall for it, and they're, as you put it, SOL.
On a related note I wish people would stop logging onto this game drunk. But I think if I push that concept I'll start a flame war. Just my two cents.

You could call a GM and say that they broke the ToS by "Making an unfair trade that broke the trust of another player."
GM's will just respond with all trades are final and anything done between 2 players in a 'fair trade' can not be changed.
I tried to get 10k back once from a Casino when they first came out, and I used to play them a little. I called a GM when the guy ran off with my gil and the GM just told me that 'all trades are final'.

dont worry....i had absolutely no intention of partying or anything like that....just checked AH for stuff and it was within 5 mins of it happening....
as for the GM...the best thing they could do was say they may get their account terminated...great....they lose their account WITH my ring lol

Lmao This person ran up to me and asked to update both my Snipers to HQ. I told them to get the hell away from me ::shrugs:: Gotta take better care of your equipment IMO

First, the person dumb enough to let someone on his comp that he didn't know.
Then, someone complaining when they took an invite while fighting an NM and then the person booted them.
Now, someone stupid enough to trade some stranger a high ticket item.
I personally approve of a select number of jackasses doing this, it helps to sift out the idiots among us.
And I seriously doubt you were drunk. More than likely, you are 12, and you had too much milk and are just looking for an excuse to cover your stupidity.

No, usually when doing that I tell that person to make a deposit worth the item XD
So if they do run off with it, I will walk over to the AH and buy a new one.
Done that and everytime the person refuses, then argues with me then gets blisted.
