A reduction in the TNL does nothing when you're sitting around in Jeuno with your flag up for six hours, so...whatever.

More people means more parties, and more chances to get in one.

It's not as though they're going from 75,000 tnl to 4,000 tnl at lvl 75. They'll more likely just take it down maybe 1,000 or 2,000 at most.

I certainly hope so XD

And with a Raise III, you'll still need to die about 40+ times to go from max experience at 75 to lvl 74 if you get a Raise III each time. (Which is somewhat wishful thinking itself.)

not that it's really relevant to the thread's issue, but not everyone always get raiseIII all the time. Sometimes you can be pressed by time/mana and such ^^

*shrug* If enough zones get too crowded, something has to change.

I've had the (chance) to level 3 jobs through Yuhtunga recently... I think it's safe to say that with the speed at which we could pull sometimes, I'd have gotten more XP soloing XD

That's true, but do YOU do a Dynmais run every 3 days on the clock without stopping? Well, with more 75s, it might be possible to do 2 Dynamis runs in 6 days instead of 1 every 2 weeks. More dynamis runs = more chances for relic armor drops.

Well, I obviously don't do any dynamis, period, since I'm still level 51. I know many people who do them twice a week, however.

If you got into a dynamis shell, the main obstruction I can see to doing it twice a week is if your shell can't afford the 1mil it cost.
Having more people come can only mean more competition for the drops...

However, it might allow those shells that aspire to become dynamis-able but who are lacking the numbers to achieve their goal, and allow those who can't find a regular dynamis shell to apply to one of the new ones that might be created.

People will still level at the same rate proportionally to each other anyways...
He *would*, however, need less parties to reach 75, therefore less sessions of waiting 6 hours on his butt in Jeuno =D

This is the SMN thing all over again! And this isn't the only place that's doing this, this is ridiculous....

Your statuses in the FFXI community are hardly going to be threatened by this. Maybe I'm just one of those people who doesn't give a rat's behind about level.

Rest of my opinion's in the other thread about this update...

The following is a list of just a few of the changes that await our adventurers!

1. Mining/Harvesting Expansions
New items can soon be found in Newton Movalpolos, Giddeus, and West Sarutabaruta.

2. New Quests
Numerous new quests will be available in Tavnazia, Jeuno, and other familiar locations.

3. Marble Bridge Coaster
When in possession of this special item, a message will automatically inform players whether or not they have access to the Marble Bridge Tavern in Upper Jeuno.

4. New Relics
The veil is about to be lifted on several new pieces of relic-style armor.

hah, that's funny. I've recently started visiting the tavern from time to time, just to see if people would do so, too XD

I've been in that place once... for the save the clocktower quest.

Honestly what's the point of this? It's a useless piece of space.

Maybe they're about to make it do something. I only have been in that bar once, as Black Mage, and there's like nothing in there. There's a vendor and I think an NPC. The vendor sold juices though.

it has potential for RPers, maybe.

But there aren't many RPers that I know of.

If they had made alcohol, and drunkenness in the game, there might have been more people there, too.
But it's hard to get people to go to the tavern without any dwarves around...

well, this is my crazy opinion but that tavern might be some sort of socializing club.

Think about it as a way to meet others with at least one common trait. Then you can ask whoever you meet there about why picking his current race/job/nation and such which can lead to a big conversation and a possible friendship. It's a way to socialize outside the usual Exp parties/coffer run/NM hunting, etc. Or a way to start role-playing between several persons based on a common trait.

That's the way I see things. And from what i've seen, it's screwed up too. Everytime I show up, it's either not my day ( Paladin/Elvaan/Bastok) or the place is empty because nobody care/know about it. If I had a item like that, I would go in that place a lot more often.

I think it's nice that they added Army's Paeon V, it will definitely be a great addition to Bard. Granted my bard may not be 65 yet...but I'll be there soon hopefully.
I guess it's safe to say that Paeon V will also make the Maat fight easier, where you can possibly replenish 18-22 HP/tick with Soul Voice Paeon IV ad Paeon V, as opposed to the 14-18 HP/tick with III and IV. I wouldn't actually know about the Maat fight since I've never fought him, but less experience to level up and Paeon V...things are looking up for my Bard =)

Also, incase you haven't checked yet the update is ready to be downloaded. I'm currently at 39% =)

Level 60 Solo ENMs :DDDD

Omg, these sound awesome, I can't wait to try one.

It's a 60 cap, and it takes away your subjob (like Maat). You fight a Mannequin (same job as you).

Heres a video: www.littleronin.com/ECNM60.zip
