You may, or may not know us.

HK has been around, since the start of FFXI, atleast i think so. We've seen some of the best players leave FFXI, and now, our leader has ditched us as well.

Me, Roin, and Xenocide have been givin the leadership of the shell (save for the shell's starter, Kulganflame, who's just rarely on, due to RL stuff, or HNM/Dynamis stuff) and decided it's time to start recruiting.

If you're interested in helping an old, well respectable shell to get back on their feet, please /tell one of us, we'll be more than happy to toss you a pearl, and let you test us out for a few weeks, and see if you stay.

Right now; HK isn't really a HNM/NM/Dynamis/Whatever shell. it's just a hang out for right now, further down the road, when the member base gets bigger, we'll probably turn into one of the higher -endgame- shells.

all levels are welcome, as long as you're not a "AOL-speak, idiot" :)

I hardly think that's fair.

he didn't Ditch, per say. i should rephrase that :/

he quit the game, so all that remains is Kulgan, but he's always busy, so it's not like he can run the shell, even if he liked to.

Cel has nothing to do with the site our LS site was hosted on... heh. Kulg and Cel were just buddies with the owners. I assume that the owners lost interest in the game they were making and stopped payin' the bill or canceled it *shrugs*.

And I don't think Cel made it to 75... least I hadn't heard anything about that. Last I saw he was 73.

peace,
CR

Your leader left because of personal problems, don't even say he ditched you ;x

Cel's in Aurora now. Along with Aidama. And Solar. :P

From what I've heard on shell about his leave, WAS in Aurora is more appropriate. If Cel had personal reasons for leaving, I sincerely hope he resolves them... now I have to find a new MNK role model.

/cry

Happy trails, old friend....alas, I long for the days where Manthra MNKs cowered in fear of bomb self-destructs, and repeatedly discussed the size of their penii.

Yeah, Naeo used poor wording. We know he was in Aurora and we have supported him there. I was happy to see the great treatment he was getting... though I never did get to see his Melee Gaiters... heh.

Cel's a good guy, and yes, personal reasons I'm sure. I checked the Aurora forums yesterday to see if he wrote why, there, but didn't see anything. Anywho, Naeo said he is playing WoW now with a bunch of the HK guys who left for that *shrugs* only person who could tell us for sure would be Cel himself.

peace,
CR

Speaking up to defend (not really the best word) a friend:

Cel left for personal reasons. Not because he liked WoW more or was bored or anything like that. He's our friend and always will be. I wish it hadn't taken me so long to realize that. And the reasons behind why he felt he had to leave make me sad and beyond angry at the same time.

And Alauce, you suck. I'll give you a few million for Solarflare =P. Aidama you can keep though.

Naeo and crew: good luck with rebuilding HK. I had a lot of fun times there and will always look back on it fondly. Thanks for all the memories.

Indeed, a very cool guy and its a shame he left. Yeah you guys have Solar and Aid, but Solar still comes on shell pretty often. Most often of the three you've gotten.

Hell, you guys got a Mithra Monk what... three god items and a peice of Relic gear in only two weeks? Who wouldn't want to join an LS like that? *chuckles*

EDIT: As for you, Rayne... you know you're always welcome to come on shell and say hi to everyone, heh. I'm sure they'd love ta see ya.

peace,
CR

like i said, i should have worded it better, i didn't mean it to come sounding off like he didn't care.

lord knows Cel cared greatly for both Aurora and HK
