I maybe abit new to this game, having only 3 and a half months of experience.. But I've met many people, PT'ed with many people. And befriended many people. There are some people I haven't seen in weeks, and some a month or two. I keep hoping that I'd run into them one day in Jeuno or Sandy or any other town, but it never happens.
Anybody ever go through something like this?

There's a person named Silverlark that's been on my FFXI friendlist since the first week I started playing FFXI, and I haven't seen them online since a few days after I befriended them. I keep hoping their name will randomly pop up, but so far, nothin'.
Two interesting instances, both people I befriended from enjoyable, worry-free Dunes parties of all places. I met and /befriended Terrestrialrage and Moonpie there several months ago. Then I never really ran into them until my old Linkshell (NeoAmethyst) broke up and many of us wound up on DivineChaos which was led by, lo and behold, Moonpie! And I ran into Terre again when he joined my other Linkshell (Aurora).
It's always odd how you eventually run into people again if you play this addiction long enough ^^

By the way, anybody ever see some guy name Hydro around? or a girl name Aoisakuraba? I've pt'ed with both of them a few times, they were really great too, but never ever saw them again. ._.;

i met her when she first started, gave her 5k to start with, and showed her the basics...then when she got higher level, we did more stuff, and i asked her to marry me in game.
then she moved, and never came back to FFXI :/ i miss her, so much...she was one of the few people i trusted ingame <3

To whoever wanted to know about Stellina. She had some RL problems before she moved. I dont know why she hasn't came back to FFXI though.

I get the "pleasure" of running into moonpie every day^^
I wish I could see Ivwri back in the game even though I never will. An awesome Galka who always knew what he was talking about and put together some of the best parties I have been in (got 3 levels in qufim in one session, which is pretty rare now-a-days, at least for me). Many in the UoW LS got to know him longer than what I did, but for the time I did get to play with him he was an awesome player and I really enjoyed talking to him. He was just an awesome guy that is still and always will be missed.
