There I was, trying to get my Warrior to 37 so I could start leveling my Paladin again.
I was a level 35 Warrior/Ninja then when a person sent me a msg (and for confidential reason, I am not going to tell you guys that his name is Dirtbomb).
"Hey, you want a party?" said Dirt.
Without hesitations I willingly accepted his invitation. As a routine I would always check the member list to see whether or not I could help the party to recruit some members.
The party was BLM, BLM, RNG, WAR.
I told Dirt that I do not want to tank (because in my search comment, there is was -- {meat}{shield} = {no, thanks!}. (I've just had an extreme make-over that day, thanks to many people in the Intensity LS. I learned my lesson and ackowledged that War/Nin is better off being a DD)
I probably wouldn't have minded if there was no tank seeking. However, there was Derrek -- who I partied with later on that day, awesome Paladin -- and he was looking for party. So I asked Dirt to invite Derrek and find ourselves a White Mage and we would be our way out.
After 5 minutes, no invite. (I had already talked to Derrek and told him that Dirtbomb was going to invite him).
I asked Dirt if he was inviting Derrek, he said yeah. The next thing I knew, the fifth member joined us and I checked him...
a ranger, and that was when things get a bit frosty.
"What the heck man? Isn't there too many DDs?" "Two Rng and two blm... interesting" So I asked Dirt why he didn't invite Derrek. Guess what he said?
"Because the Warrior isn't tanking, he has no purpose here", I tried to calm myself down and told him "buddie, War/Nin = DD major. Nin/War = tank major". Then he said "You are free to leave".
You guys probably know what happens after that.
Sorry for the long rant, but now I got that off my chest. I am a happy man now. As I walked back from Garlaige Citedal after obtaining level 37; I walked by Dirtbomb in Jeuno... he is still level 35 Ranger
>>Dirtbomb: How's partying?
Dirtbomb>>: Horrible...
lol go figure!
