Doesn't this appear absurdFollow

What is the deal with gimped sub-job these days? I don't like to rant but sometimes it's very difficult to invite a needed job only then to realize he or she has a gimped sub-job (I am not pointing finger, but WHM28/BLM08???). My party members would start messaging me and tell me that someone has a gimped sub-job. I don't really mind partying with them, but have people gone beyond their mind and think that they can succeed without giving the effort to level thier sub-job?

* Heck! If that works, I don't even have to level my Warrior to sub for my Paladin!

Sorry for my rant, and now I feel better. Thank you all for bearing with me. lol

lol, Lockhart, I know who you mean...

Despite the gimp sub, he didn't do a bad job for a gimped whm... I mean he even managed to melee for most of the night. O.o

Meh, whatever, the party rocked anyways. It was fun Lock, I'd definately party with ya again. :)

i am curious to know the name because i was in kazham well over a month ago and there was a 26/7WHM/8BLM there who kept blind inviting and was constantly LFP when people realized his sub.

I dont remember the nameo ff hand but would recognize it if i saw it, i am pretty sure it was a Taru.

would be funny if it was the same person.

Actually Tse he was a hume. I'd divulge his name, but truth be told, I don't think he did a bad job at all and so I won't tarnish his rep. Hopefully he knows better and gets that sub levelled and stops meleeing and stops nuking and starts conserving MP and bringing refresh drinks and stays on top of the party buffs...

Watch out, there's a 74thf/10nin running around bismark.

/sigh

at that point he's missing Utsu I and II, and dual wield II. I don't understand it.

A THF got that high gimped? I understand how a Blazingtiger or Manakurei can ***** out their mains and use terrible subs, but even good THFs with good gear can struggle with invites. Just don't see how a THF could get away with being blatantly terrible.

Ok, this worries me, someone with a VERY similar name to mine is runnin round gimp?

For the record I am GARAN, not Goran, Garek, Garand, or any others that I have seen with an uncanny resemblance in name.

Just trying to avoid confusion... :)

I love to defend the underdog.

At the moment my whm 58 is gimped with my sub 27 blm. I have tryed on numbers of occasions to get a party with my blm in Kazham. Wait all day for a party, even tryed to make my own a few time. I get half a party and people allways have something that comes up at the last min...... i freaking hate that... i feel a rant coming on about.. (breathe in and out... relax)
any ways back to the subject....
Lvl'n your sub sucks. I know its all part if the game but my opinion is that part of the game blows ***. Whm how ever can get away with it more than other jobs. You have all these fun job options on your parties tank, DD and puller. With only one healer job, what be up with that?

God i need some sleep, i forgot my point.... it was really good i swear.
Oh yeah.... As long as the whm is keeping your party alive, i see no reason why it blm sub can't be gimped. If it gets the job done than whats the problem? I can't think of a single blm spell i even use in a party. Infact the only blm spell i ever use is Warp. So big deal... your not the one running around looking lazy.

at level 58 Escape is a very nice thing to have

lol I totally agree. As long as the party stays alive, I really don't see a big deal.

I am just concerned about thier futures... a BLM 58/WHM 27 isn't bad... but what happens if you see a WHM 58/BLM 10... sure, he or she can keep you alive. But hey, if their sub-job is up-to-date... they get more MP, and perhaps more INT or MND ( I am still very scratchy on these attributes )... doesn't that make partying more easy?

Then again, it's just my opinion.

*as to Garran, I agree, he did a nice job keeping the party alive. But I do hope he level his sub-job in the near future. And sure, I would love to party with you, you are one heck of a BLM! I need to level my NINJA first though, or else I would have a gimped sub-job. lol
