I play cause i dont want to sleep... if i sleep the clowns will eat me!!!! so thanks FFXI for keeping me awake!
I play for a couple reasons:
1) Seeing the storylines for myself.
2) People I meet and befriend.
3) great way to hang out with people i would have otherwise never met.
4) every once in a while i need a good laugh.
5) having the power to help others with almost anything is always nice.
6) to escape the limits of life.

For times like tonight when you've got to figure out how to get to three of your fallen team members in Promyvion Holla. Thier bodies being surrounded by empties and you only have one WHM still alive. When three brave Elvaans offer thier lives to get the fallen comrades out of harm's way and succeed in making it to the BCNM. Even in defeat at the BCNM we learned a valuable lesson....

This game is my crack, I always need more for some reason.....
I started FFXI cause I'm a Final Fantasy fangirl, but anymore, the only reason I put up with the bull of raising AH prices, bad parties and ungodly insane amounts of XP you need to level is my friends. I wouldn't be here if it weren't for them. I'd list them but I dunno who'd feel like reading it. They know who they are, and how much I <3 them.
It has been said a few times already here, but this game without a doubt, allows me to escape all of my RL fiascos. After a stressful day at work ... there's nothing I enjoy more than coming home, crackin' open a beer, turnin on FFXI and playing a great game with some really great friends.

I play this game because I will be the Tarutaru Destroyer. I will be a 2' tall maelstrom of pain.
