Just because I'm bored I'm gonna start another thread, you know why? Because I can. ^^ So guys, why do you still play this game?


Just to throw my answer in:

I guess I still play this game not for the actual game itself, because to be quite honest it irritates me on an hourly basis, but for the people I meet. I have met some of the nicestest, most entertaining people imaginable on this game, and simply that is what keeps me coming back. I have formed bonds with people that go beyond the game, and I am proud to consider these people true friends. I have actually had conversations on the phone with quite a few of them, and it makes me extremely happy. So it is becuase of them I continue to come back, day after day, night after night. THey keep me going when I want to quit, and cheer me on when I am doing well... thanks guys

The world is still pretty much vast and new to me. Each level makes it easier for me to explore and find out little things I've missed out on because I was too in a hurry running away from a mob ^^;

And definitely, I stay for my friends. You all know who you are, and if you don't, well... we have to sit down and take a chat over by my favorite places so you realize just how much you mean to me.

I still have goals with some of these friends too, that I look forward to. Baba and I have been level partners, how it started, we're still baffled, but we've made some funny end game goals we want to do. Apollo and I are gonna be in a new fairly low level set with my LS home and I can't wait for that. I haven't even begun to craft, but I'm hoping to earn my cloth glasses one day, to be the geeky nerd I am in game and out. And soo much more.

Besides... who else is gonna plan the Gatherings? ^^

i keep playing because i am addicted to this game.. I love playing this game, day in and day out.. I have even called in sick to work becuase i wanted to sit infront of my computer all day and play this game..

I keep playing because of all of the friends i have made during the process of becoming addicted. The people i have met in this game are awesome, and i have had phone conversations with lots of them, and i dont think i could ever leave this game..


I also do it for the beer and the bit[Black][/Black]ches.

This game has the stunning visuals, amazing storyline, and the VAST world that we come to expect from SE in regards to this line. The fact that they regularly add to this world, and give us new areas to explore, new equipment to drool over, and new foes to conquer is awsome.

That all is the cake. The people are the icing. I've met some wonderful people in this game and continue to do so (Infinite Conflict, you guys rock!) ^^

Actually i play because its:
1) Final fantasy
2) Fun
3) I have so many friends, and I look foward to making more acquantinces. I've run into Merodi and had a brief discussion about peanut butter. (She likes hers crunchy)
4) It's an escape from this boring world.

I play for a few reasons. I loved FF since before I can remember.
I wanted the chance to play the game I loved so much with other people, to explore new worlds and set foot where no Mithra has set foot before!

And I get to talk to my brother without a nice phone bill is good to ^^

i question i would have not asked myself about ... but now i did...

i have to tell ... i never played an online game b4...

i started when i broke up with my ex... i needed to find a way to pass time without thinkin of her... now im addicted.

i play all the time i can. the worst is i cant tell i really love that game... i even find it boring sometimes... but thats true we can meet ppl (even tho i dont really have any friends.)

what i like the most its to help ppl... u know ppl that really enjoy the game n wants to do something too hard for his/her level... u help him/her n u make him/her the most happiest person .... thats what i like the most... i feel really good when someone is happy ....i dont care to waste a whole saturday helpin someone to get rank 4 or 5 or to get any kind of keys or anything possible in this game as long as i put joy in someones life....

i helped lots of ppl that /wave me but i cant say i got lots of friends tho... my 2 or 3 friends are always doin something else n too busy coz they dont want to waste time... wasting time... wtf... its a dam game... anyways...


Why am i playing this game... im still asking myself about it.. i think id only need one big something to **** me off n id quit... until then i hope ill meet ppl that will make me look forward for my next gamin session....

- the people, especially everyone in SA. I could name names but the list would be too long. Aw hell why not, I can name some of you I suppose :) Eleusynia, Yekan, Noxx, Awias, Braewyn, Alucarth, Dedrick, Ulysses, Galkus, Zekenthia, Dragonflie, Kaaz, Arondight, Merodi

- the accomplishment, succeeding where failure was expected (like soloing the NIN quest leeches at 48, right after I had myself convinced rdm sucked)

- the fun, watching our set BLM take like 12 deaths in 3 xp sessions (and still laughin at it), hangin out with friends, dune parties for sh[b][/b]its and giggles, not xp.

There is probably more, but I can't think straight today.
