What is the strangest thing that hasa happened to you?Follow
I was just sitting here all alone in my dark room thinking about all the strange and funny things that has happened to me in parties over the time I have partaken of this game. So tell me guys... What is the single most strange or funny occurance you have had in this game? Remember.. it can only be ONE thing ('.')b
This is possibly the funniest thing so far.
We just beat the Snoll BC for a CoP mission. We exit the BC and we still have his massive Frost effect on us, but we are too excited to notice. The instant I zone out (with 32 hp left), I drop dead. Since I was outside of the BC, this was a level 68 death instead of just the level 60 death while inside the BC.
The 75drk next to me goes crazy laughing. He thought it was the funniest thing he had ever seen. Then he realizes that his hp are quickly falling. "HEAL ME!", he cries. Too late for him though. He drops down right next to me. Now it is my turn to laugh :-D
Meh. It is much less funny when I try to relay it, but at the time, I was dying laughing.

Funniest thing for me (and it was purely visual)
Kiting a charmed Galka MNK (approx. lvl 74) who kept pounding my nugget, interrupting my sleep spell every friggin time. Just the visual of a taru being chased by a bloodlust Galka, running circles around the Arch Corse, screaming for heals.

A friend and I were leveling our nin and whm, respectively, in Sarutabaruta, with a brd friend along for the PL (sup Chops). Bris somehow died, Chops raised him, and within literally half a second, a skeleton appeared out of friggin nowhere and promptly killed him again. Funniest goddamned thing I've ever seen, and the skeleton's spawning exactly there at exactly that time was just incredible.

I guess I should post mine too huh? Well here it is:
I was on as Flourite, and I decided to do some missions in the time that Noswal (my ever present partner in crime) was at work. So I was in sandy and took the tomb mission. So after getting slightly lost in the tomb I finally find the area where the ding bats spawn. Keep in mind I was on as my lvl 14 blm at the time. And low and behold.. what do I see? The spook just floating near by. Hmm, I think to myself, only DC I can take it. So I start attacking it, and instead of spamming fire and aero I keep trying to heal myself. Guess what happened... that's right I died.
So Swissd (the mostest fantastic semi whm in the world) says that he will come raise me. I had to go the the store, and when I get back all I see is that I have 19 miunutes left (my HP was in selbina) and Swiss is no where to be found. I said that I was back in the LS and he said to look back in the chat log. It turns out that Swiss is lost as hell, and that I was NEVER ever allowed to die there again *lol* So I am laying dead on the ground, trying to figure out how to get him there, and this person, Sheyenne I think was the name, Starts camping the spook. I tell swiss, and this person is gracious enough to lead Swiss to me.
THe whole time I was counting down the minutes, and finally he gets there and then realizes he doesn't have enough MP to raise me, so he has to rest. With like 1:30 left on my clock. We were dying laughing. FINALLY I get the raise with like 34 second to spare. I know this was really long, but DAMN was it funny.
