I don't know about you guys, but I have come to a realization as of late. I'm poor! I know I was stunned to find this out too. Do you remember when you first started the game and you got your first 5k or even 10k and you thought "Woot! I'm rich!" Ah the glory days.. *sigh* Anyway.. I have decided that I need to take a couple of days and just farm.

Now I know that you all are not going oto give away your farming secrets... or maybe you will *uses jedi mind trick* What I want to know, in general, is where a good place to farm is or what to farm. Unfortunetly for me, I don't have the patience to camp NMs, simply because I know that I will never be able to pull them first. Have you guys seen the little taru drk named Gutti camping Argus? That little thing can voke an ancient bat before it fully spawns I swear! Anyway, I digress...

I have been farming goblins in the maze for straight gil, but it just doesn't seem to do the trick. If the kind hearted souls on here would, in their vast wisdom, enlighten me on some of their expiriences or insights I would be most appreciative. Thanks everyone ^^

*cowers in fear hoping the grammer ***** are pleased with the post* >.> <.<

Something you can try that will generate good money very fast, and help you out later on:

Level alchemy.

Some of the very early alchemy recipes sell for quite a lot, and are usually dirt-cheap, especially if you have fishing leveled. Cooking can also be profitable early, and give you more options for selling the items that you may already farm, like sleepshrooms.

Thanks Sioux.. I have cooking lvled to 42 ^^ it just seems like the ingredients are so expensive now. Doesn't help that most of the recipies use fire crystals. Unfortunately I only have a lvl 2 in fishing *lol* maybe I'll try that though. Rank 2 in alchemy, so maybe there is hope there for me.

Thanks again ^^

Ehh I never farmed in my life and never intend to. The only times I have "farmed" is leveling all my jobs up to 10. Other than that, I use to make money "playing the AH." That helped fund me through the Qufim days. Then I invested in a craft and now I fund myself with that. I am a cook myself Jaden. I didn't start making "money" until I hit level 60. If you plan to take cooking all the way, it's always an advantage to have mules and be sure to always fill your AH slots. With cooking, there is money to be made. It can be tedious though because you have to cook large amounts of food.

Anyway if you need any advice on cooking or anything else, just send me a /tell in game.

Oh yeah if you really want to farm, you can go farm Silk (Rolanberry), Tigers (Battalia Downs).... cockatrice meat? coeurl meat? Giants in Delkfutt drop decent gil also with /thf. Sorry, I'm not an expert in farming.......
