Heya,
Ugh well i dunno if im going crazy or this has happened to other FFXI players. It first started out with having FFXI dreams, pretty much every night i dreamed about FFXI. Then followed Halucinations(sp?): One morning my mom came to wake me up and she was wearing full CNT armor and used FLASH to wake me up. This weekend i was spending some time with my gf late night and could not get my mind off lvl 60+ RSE also later on that night (I was half asleep) i swore she was wearing full paladin AF and using Provoke on me. This is some crazy **** and i need advice. I'm thinking its time i took a little break from this game.

that was a funny dream i've ever heard.
I remember I got the same hallucination (no, actually its a dream) when fenrir kicked my pt's asses for 3 times in one crazy night made me couldnt sleep and when I can get myself to sleep i dreamt that we are back in full moon fountain and the rest i forgot what we were doing.
I believe you need to take a break for some weeks, but don't quit this game man! I wanna see how you progress to level 70 ^^

Yea im at a hard part in the game right now, it seems like eather full dedication or nothing.
I been soloing HNMs every night for 3 months now, last night I saw a RL life MNK wearing AF with a blonde wig on my dreams.
LMAO.. I would be fine if all i had was dreams but the hallucinatoins are what really freaking me out.

Step off the Fungar's(sp) and everything will be ok.. dam shrooms always cause weird dreams. (i cant spell halucination... yes im dum -_-)

yeah crazy stuff happeneswhen you play this game for so long. I remember right before I was about to get High Jump with my drg I had a crazy dream.
Got finished lving with a pt and was close to a lv up. Decided to sleep. And I dreamed I was a dragoon. The problem was I appearently used High Jump and I was just falling through clouds with my lance pointed down like I was about to land on the mob. However this is all that happened the whole damned dream!
Take a few days - a week off my friend. Anymore then that and addiction will pull you back in.

I've had FFXI dreams before, quite often. Most of the time they occur right after a particularly long bender on FFXI, or right after something important (to me) happens ingame, et cetara. I figure it's just my brain's way of sorting out things.

Yea, I know that feelin'...I remember having those dreams myself...Hell, I can even still remember them. -.-
I decided i am not going to take a full break but i will cut down the time i play for a few weeks.
ahaha, its not just me. I have had dreams about the game before. Most of the time, i am just shopping in Jeuno. But once i have had one, where i was in Valkurm and i was trying to go swimming. But every time i would get in the water,... pugs would chase me out and bite at my legs. I was soo scared to get in cause of it, but for some reason or another i just kept going back in.

Since I have quit Everquest and stopped being a raid leader I haven't had any game dreams at all. But, while I was playing EQ I was having dreams of soloing uber hard places (that took 30-60 people to clear) and such. You know what those dreams told me? I was playing too much goddamn everquest. I think you're playing too much goddamn FFXI lol.

Good call Tweedius. I recently quit FF, one of the minor reasons was the dreams (the main reason was not being able to focus while not in the game... O.o). I think after 3 days they were done, so you should be back in business soon!
Thats my problem too when im not in the game and im sorta bored i cannot focus. Like when im at school or driving i will just day dream about FFXI. Well i have cut down my playing time and been spending time with Family/friends/girlfriend/school. I still playe like 3 hours a day in between schools but i cut down my weekend playing times. I feel much better and i actually understand whats going on in Spanish II ! /joy!
