yeah, i've been stuck @ lvl 53 DRG for almost 2 months now, with no exp at all. i just sit in jeuno LFG for 8-9 hours before i give up and go lvl something else. i'm going crazy not being able to use my AF equip. so anybody that is willing to help me lvl, i'd greatly appreciate it.

Dude, how about this? Change your job. Its always fun to level a new job now and then. Just take a break from DRG and level a new job, like White Mage, Black Mage, Red Mage, DRK, PLD (or my fav) BRD ect. Just take a break from DRG.

You could always just get into a craft. Woodworking is perfect for Dragoons. With it, they can craft a bench to sit on while lfg O.O

>< ugh.

I'm so sorry this happened to you; I had to quit DRG at 30 because of this crap.
Guys:

Dragoon is a great DD.

They're more accurate and give steadier damage than a DRK, the wyvern almost never misses; their SC contributions are added to by the wyvern's breath attack; they get a free attack every time Jump comes up; polearms open a ton of skillchains.
If a DRG subs WHM/BLM/RDM, the wyvern can contribute heals.

I've always chalked DRG hate partly up to the fact that most players never see past the immediate number. A DRK hits once in a given period of time for xx damage; the pt is impressed.
A DRG hits twice in the same span of time, usually for comparable damage up through 30 at least, and then the wyvern adds damage to that. But people can't add. ><

It's immensely frustrating, and I feel for you. If I had a job closer to your level I'd be more than happy to work something out, but if you can grab enough parties to get around 56-57, we can talk about this.

Make your own parties. 95% of my DRK exp is from my own parties.

Play regularly and tries to invite a regular circle of ppl. It will become very easy to make parties once you have small network of ppl who you have leveled with and have good impression of the party you've made. It's like a loose set party with a close circle.

The hardest part of any DD job is finding the exp party. Good luck with that.

when i start LFG the first thing i DO is see if there are enough people on with the right jobs to make my own party. but normally, its just me and a buch of other DDs LFG.

i am doing wood working, i'm just short on money right now so i've had to stop for the time being.

sioux, dude, you feel my pain lol. if i can just get up to 55, 56, i'll be able to PT w/ some LS friends. but until then....

but yeah, i have kick *** equip, i just can't use it, and like sioux said, dragoons can easily out dmg a DRK, their magic just lets them MB and get a little more dmg in. but not that often.

/em does the secret drg handshake with BalforX.

Fellow brethren do not dispair. We Brothers of the lance need only hold our heads high. I have been in your situation before when times get tough you need only be patient. There are partys that are wonderful and others that make you wish you had not wasted your time.
I ahte when ppl tell us to make our own pts. Half the time there are never enough ppl looking to start a group and it there are enough ppl to make a pt they will not be the jobs you need. For example if there is a whm there is never a rdm. If there is a rdm there isnt a whm. If there you can find a whm and rdm then theres never a tank around. Sometimes you can find enough ppl though.
Keep your lance held high.

Drg is awesome but I really hate the whole drg vs drk thing. They probably get as much greif as well do. /salutes the drks.

i know they have as much trouble as we do, a guy in my LS is a 58(?)drk. but yeah, for me these days, any party is a good one.
