Im putting together a party for Mission 5-1 Killing the BC Friday 11th at 10:00EST. The level cap is 50 and i need 5 more people. Sign up here. Note: I will not even try friday night if i only have 3/6.

I have already done 5-1.....however, I enjoyed it, fun fight, and I will be willing to go again to help yas, but ONLY IF WE do 5-2 as well....I have have had a bicth of a time tryin to get ppl to do this. It supposed to be a sweet fight against the shadow lord.

I sure hope rank 4 can... I'll try to see if I can get someone help me get rank 4 today/tomorrow. Already started it, and stuff.
Ooh. Ooh. I'll go as BLM, I've been trying to get this done for a while. I keep getting invites for 5-2, but never 5-1.
I'd come, but I'm only a lvl 40 WHM and NIN is stuck at 37 until I can make enough money for Ni... let's just say that'll be awhile.

Okay sweet, That makes it 6+. I'm sure some people wont be on tomarrow night that signed up but if we are all there we can do BC mutiple times. We need a tank despratly so plz sign up Plds and Ninjas

All you really need is a War to tank for this one. Hell, even a monk could do it if you've got enough DDs. If you've even got 1 monk the difficulty level of this BC goes down so much. I did mine at level 45 (whm) with another level 41 (pld) in the pt and 4 50s. We only had 1 mnk, and no blm or rng, with a War tanking. The mob was dead in about 2 minutes.
Considering our pt makup, if you prepare well and time skillchains with the 2hs, you shouldn't need anything more than a war.

If a 46BLM wouldn't be a problem to take with i need to do this ASAP. I shouldnt have a problem logging on at that time either. Send me a /tell Joma in game or post in here if I can tag along.

I'd be interested in doing this, though I'd need to purchase a few level >50 equip like a shield especially. I should be on during that time, though send me a tell to remind me during the day just incase I forget =) Oh yeah BTW I'm a level 55 PLD. I think you guys need a PLD still?

if you're rank 4, and level 50, you should really just go get rank 5, heh. It isn't hard. It can be soloed by a level 35, well all except the Beadeaux NMs, but considering you're level 50, I'd say it should be cake for you.
Also I'm pretty sure you need a certain Key Item to get into the 5-1 BCNM, but I could be wrong, seeing as I haven't done it yet.

This quest cannot be completed without the SEAL! It is recommended you pick up a map of Fei'Yin by doing "A Smudge On One's Record", a quest in Windurst Waters. You should also pick up a map of Beaucedine Glacier in Jeuno and Ranguemont Pass.
I'm fairly certain this mission is like the Rank 3 mission where you kill the dragon. After you've done it, you can do it as many times as you like, but before hand you can't try it at all.
Going from the quote above in the mission description here on Allak, you in fact DO need a key item. I hope everyone who is planning on going actually researches this mission and comes prepared.
