Viva la "Lastok"Follow

I'm feeling a little out number here... I'm a faithful Bastokian and we have been in last place for so long now. I even hear comments like, Lastok and it breaks my heart. We used to trade Zulkheim with Sandy, now its just always Sandys. This week Bastok has claimed two regions Gustaberg and Elshimo Lowlands. We should have those anyway. The rest of the board is lite up with little red squares. </sigh>
Where have all the Bastokian's gone? I see so many Hume and Galka with San'Doria flags and it just erks me, i tell ya! It such an unfair advantage and i'm so weak and powerless to do anything about it. </cry>

Yeah i've noticed this too, back when I started the game Bastok was 1st twice I think, so I dint think much of it. Then I came to realize...I was always seeing Sandy and Windy in 1st & 2nd place. I dont know why we are always last, but im guessing is because people have already gotten rank 10 and moved on.

Ya nuts? We get more conquest points this way, and when (if >_>) we do get higher in the ranks, we have lots more goodies to choose from with the points to spend on em!

...ok yes I'm looking for reasons to justify this. :p

We had a really good EF linkshell back in the first December this was released on PC, but they must've quit. We never held first for any extended period of time but we did take second pretty often.

Well lately we've been jumping all over the place. We'll have Zulkheim back soon enough. Hell the last three parties I was in in the Dunes were entirely Bastokan so there's hope.

What good is the conquest points if we never have 1st to get the really cool stuff with them? lol

It's a conspiracy, all high level Bastokian wants Bastok to be last place. Last place means more places that President's Gold Medal will work. 50 more MP anyone?

But really, the reason Bastok is always last and Windy is always first is because you get more gil per conquest points by going to Windy or Sandy.

Windy makes great money initially selling high demand lowbie items and later high grade mage items. Mercenarie's Belt sells very well for very little CP. Its a nice belt for almost ALL level 30s thus both the demand and priced soared on this item. Windy CP items also dominates the mage gears in the 50s. All mages want Master Casters equipment. Wise Wizzy is the top seller sword for RDMs. Most RNG goto Windy for the nice Windy-only arrow to work with their Unlimited Shot.

Sandy is always 2nd and sometimes first becasue they have better CP items than Bastok. Sandy's got really good melee items like RK gears, Reserve Capt. Swords, Brigande. They all sell for a butt loads of gils.

Bastok does have some good item too. But they are mostly low level or low demand so you cannot make too much money from. Centurian gears in the 30s are nice. But they are cheap because level 30 lowbies can't afford high prices. Musketeer items are for WAR and PLD tanks in the 50s only. Musketeer gears also gets replaced very quickly by AFs, makes them oversupplied.

Most ppl just takes the easy way out and goto Windy or Sandy. Since not many ppl complain about this unfair situation, SE just let it be.

This is why it's always Windy or Sandy being first, with Lastok well.........being last.

SE are just being dumbasses at balancing the kingdoms and later lazy asshats for not rebalancing the kingdoms. Shame on you Windy ppl for taking the easy way out.

Our LS is currently working towards Rank 10 Windurst and after we all hit that we're changing allegiance to Bastok to get Rank 10 there. I want each flag for my mog house :)

After all is done though I'll be returning to home sweet Windurst. I know most people hate it, but I love the lay out of that city. Plus I like the music the best of all the cities.
