ZM 4 through 12 (and beyond)Follow

Well, I do need ZM4 and up, so I'm interested...though I need to level a ton...know when you'd wanna do this? All at once or perhaps a lil here, a lil there...

I was going to reserve scheduling this until a full party was fully assembled and agreed on.

Having that SMN 2hr makes me tingle though, so I certainly hope that you will decide to come with.

We don't have to be terribly urgent in completing thses missions, but I have already had to turn down some partys that wanted me to have access to Sky. I would like to be complete with ZM12 upon reaching level 70 for obvious reasons.

I will try to address more specific questions/concerns in the aforementioned journal entry.

Hello I'm also interested in joining ZM party, only question is what is the recommended lvl? 55 right now.

I'm very much interested if I am a high enough level.

Red Mage 63, possibly 64 or 65 by the time this gets started.

Alauce, thanks for the support man. I very much appreciate it. However, our party is shaping up nicely. Perhaps you would still like to come with us on ZM5 and some of the other non-BC fights. Perhaps act as a guide too if you have the spare time.

We are only in need of a main tank and a support dd/backup tank. So ideally a PLD (68+ would be a huge bonus) and a WAR or MNK/WAR.

I should point out that there is also a substantial secondary party forming up in the aforementioned journal thread. So if you are interested in this, but feel that your job's place may already be taken, please add your name anyway. When the secondary party reaches critical mass, you will be in business. I can't speak for everybody, but if the secondary party is a little short, I'm not averse to doing the BC battles twice. I love BC battles :-D

So far, the secondary party consists of:

Awias's Friend (63 - WHM)
Iggystar (66 - THF)
Jaygo (55 - ???)
Aphrodita (63 - RDM)
Daperfectkill (60 - BLM)

HA! Try tanking that sucker at 67.... Light Blade does like 400 at Lv70....

....and around 1000 at Lv67. You guys WILL either want a higher levelled PLD, or a blinktank for this.

I just did these the other night. Not very easy when you have 3 level 61's in your group, especially when your sleep-casters are the level 61's. The other 3 members, however, were mainly level 75. I'll just post a few tips that I gathered from doing these missions.

I think Byaina already mentioned this in another thread, but, the battles go by MUCH smoother when you have a sleep-caster above level 65. Our 61BLM hardly ever landed Sleep* during the Antican BC fight, and we all had to 2-hour to ensure the victory. Our 75PLD died, even with 2 WHMs, because we could not get the ants slept that we weren't fighting. We won by the skin of our teeth.

As for ZM5 - getting through Ifrits cauldron took all of 10 minutes, and most of that was waiting for those flame spouts to come down. If you just bring silent oils and prism powders, this place is incredibly easy to get through. It also helps when 1 person has a map. The 2-NM fight was incredibly easy. A party of level 65s would demolish these things. An alliance of 60-65's shouldn't have any problem taking down the Cape Teriggan NM.. although the Zitah NM might be another story. If you don't have any high-levels, you might want to blink tank this thing because it hits really hard. Fei'yin, La Theine, and Altepa and easily soloable.

The Delkfutts tower mission would have probably been very tough if we didn't have a 75 WAR/NIN tanking. That light blade WS will definitely **** you up. Otherwise, it wasn't that tough for us. If everyone has their Delkfutt key, the BC only takes a few minutes to get to.

And the last one.. the Pot in Quicksand Caves. We took this thing down with ease, and I'm sure having a MNK in the party would just put this thing to shame.

All of the other missions are talking to NPCs or going to zones.

Keep in mind we always had a level 75 tank, whether it be WAR/NIN or PLD/WAR. That definitely helped us out quite a bit. The other 75 was a WHM, which could have just as easily been level 61 and been just as effective because he was pretty much just there to heal, and the last slot was open to whoever wanted to come at the time. Byaina (level 65 SAM at the time) filled in for the last spot for the Antican BC and for the Delk tower BC, and I believe we killed the Quicksand Caves pot with just 5 people.. 2 level 75's and 3 level 61's.

Alright, now that I killed that last 20 minutes at work, it's time to go home. Yay.

I think I have some good news for both parties. Krack messaged me this weekend and told me that there were a couple of PLDs in his linkshell that needed to complete the Zilart missions. I think he said they were both in their high 60s. I haven't heard from either of them yet, but I'm hoping that we will have all we need for tanks for both partys. As soon as I hear from them (hopefully tonight), we should be able to go ahead and plan a time get going.

I wouldn't mind being leader for this party and as for a tank, I have one who is also on ZM8+ with me, Ishido he's a 69 Ninja at the moment.
