Astral Ring {Do you need it?} 5000 GilFollow

Yes yes, of course, it got your attention, or you totally ignored the entire thread.. Well if you dared to peek inside, then you will have a chance to participate in what i hope the be an ongoing Tradition in the name of Astral Ring.

I will cut to the chase..

Its a Raffle, just like my last one but different.. here is how it goes..


You pay 5000 gil and then you Tell me what number you would like to choose.. 0-999 are the numbers accepted. simple enough right?


Then you recieve a Pearl, which you may choose to keep after the raffle is over if you just want to hang out with the HipnotikNationor if you want to participate in future Raffles..

On the 7th of Feb. we will all Gather in a Decided location, and i will Roll /random. The person whos number is closest to what i roll, wins the Astral Ring, and much singing and rejoicing will prevail, with Fireworks, Dancing, Music the whole ShaBang!

I am going to compile a list of people who are participating, and the numbers they have chosen to be fair.. and the winner will be posted as well.. If you are not present at the time of the Drawing, you will still win the Prize..

I think this pretty much covers it all.. If you want to purchase a ticket, then /tell me ingame, or.. post your number here, and send me 5k in my delivery box..

In the event of a Tie.. There will be a Tie-breaker.. The participants that are involved will all do a best out of 5 /random showdown.. The winner will recieve the Ring, and the loser will shake his hand....

Yo Hiptaruu, I think you should hold the raffle drawing someplace besides Jeuno because it's really crowded and it might get annoying. I think it should be held in Dangruf Wadi which is really quiet and would be easier. Maybe a city would be good but I think it should be held somewhere nice but kinda low pace. =]

I have a question, and you might want to put this in your original post also. You said closest number wins, but is this like the price is right where you can't go over the roll? or just closest number?

Thank you very very much... I spent about 120k of the gil i made on Fireworks for everybody to shoot off, and boy howdy was it purty.. It was alot of fun.. although stressful at times..

Every 30 seconds i would get a /tell asking how does the Raffle work, and how do i know your not just gonna let one of your mules win... crap like that.. in the end.. all i would do is respond with ffxi.allakhazam.com Bismarck Forums..


But, all in all, it was a really Great time, and i think i might wait a while until i do this again.. Once again, thank you everybody, each and every single one of you that participated and supported me thru the whole thing, even when i just wanted to give all the gil back and quit because of the stress..


If you see anybody out there trying to copy the whole Raffle thing, just Laugh at them, and tell them to come up with thier own ideas.. Because it will Ruin it in the Future when i Decide to do something like this again...
