The motivations and ethics concerning gilsellers and why they do what they do and the impact it has on the virtual community at large is by far an endlessly spiraling conversation that has yet to be resolved. Needless to say: they shouldn't do it, people shouldn't buy gil, and SE should do something about it. I don't heal gilsellers, I don't help them, they have never helped me. In fact, in the time I've spent camping, farming, and exping in this game, I've pretty much recieved nothing from them but a) selfish requests for assistance or b) /tells or /says involving insults in Chinese that I'd rather not repeat.
"Do unto others as you would have them do unto you" is a vague proverb at best. With respect to karma, I doubt helping someone (in any small way) who is breaking the law is earning you any points in the solidly white 'Good' column. Nothing is ever so simple where your entire philosphy and code of ethics can be boiled down to one phrase.
In regards to my previous post: anyone who does not bother to at least form cohesive sentences having what I assume is at least a primary school education is lazy, in my opinion. Therefore I thought it best to direct Infamous to a site concerning punctuation with the vague suggestion that he apply it if he hopes to be taken seriously.

I think Mr. Single Sentence is the only one that thinks they are bots. I've seen them run around and follow me while I was in there.
Thanks to Bmoboss and Happydz (gilsellers), obtaining the Emperor Hairpin is unnecessarily twice as hard for me to do anymore. I think Cutriss said it best when he said Square Enix doesn't give a **** about gil sellers. The whole server knows who all the gil sellers are, except, somehow, SE "doesn't." SE has yet to make any kind of satisfying public announcement acknowledging the issue.
I can guarantee that gil sellers will make me quit this game earlier than I normally would have. Not so much because I lost my primary way to make money, but mostly because of how much SE DIDN'T do to correct this problem. If more businesses did so little to listen and respond to customers' needs, we wouldn't have too many successful businesses.

Thinking that I had a while before the next spawn time I farmed for about 40 mins, then casted "Escape" since I was lost. When I came back into the area, the Tom's were still there and the one dead Tom was still dead on the floor. I laughed pretty hard, and then I relized they ALL were bots.
Now I dont mind teams of NM hunters or NM botters that much, but 6 of them was ridicoulous. These guys have been there for about 80 hours now and if you go on the server you'll probably see them still in Ordelles Caves.
Go ahead do a "/search all Tom" and you will see for yourself. If you notice this too, please make a GM call and try to get them banned.This is getting seriously out of hand. ANYONE who has done a "/sea all Tom" and made a GM call PLEASE post the Date and Time to show everyone how long they been on botting in Caves.
Please Bismarck, call GM's on this group. When I called the GM he told me I was the 1st person to report this.
I found that amazing.
We need more people to report these hackers, so that they can be banned.

OK.. wtf is up with the grammar lessons.. I didnt even read all of the posts after i saw the stupid things that were being said..
I actually read the post, and it does suck that gil sellers are raising the prices.. I mean, yeah, i know i do the same thing with a certain item, and it sorta bit me in the ****** but still..
The point i am trying to make is... OMGWTFSTFU about grammar. If you took the time to read the post, and actually talk about it, then you wouldnt look so stoopid.. At least in my eyes.. Not pointing fingers or anything. I know i am a hypocrite when i say, STFU with the worthless flames, because i am guilty of it myself..

I didn't bother to read Infamous's post. I skimmed, my eyes bled, and I moved on. If you're going to get worked up about the fact people actually care to read intelligible posts, then well, why bother reading and posting at all? Your poorly worded opinions will either be dismissed or summarily ignored by arguments more eloquently put than 'STFU'.

AAAAAGH people the grammar lessons are a) for humor and b) to make a point. I wouldn't do them if people's posts were comprehensible as they stood. They aren't, so they get the grammar treatment, because if it takes me longer to go through and make sense of it than it would have taken the original poster to make their post legible, you can be damn sure I'm not going to put any effort into figuring out what they have to say. People laughed the last time I did it, so I did it again. Since they seem to offend people so much I'll never do it again, good gracious. Please, for the love of all that's pure and true, just try to understand them in the spirit in which they're given...

keep training them in until they are all dead. If they are really all bots they will fall over 1 by 1 soon enough. Another way is call for help let them ingage than get hate back and run with the mob gob what ever they will follow you. Just put them in a different room if they are truely bots.

I can assure you the Toms are not bots, at least not in my experience. A bot would not run the length of the tunnel and half way down the stairs to help a fellow Tom beat up on Stroper. Now, they may have bot programs (human beings gotta sleep), but from what I saw they act like human controlled characters to me
