#1 Jan 31 2005 at 9:51 AM Rating: Default
Well hello it's Infamouskiller recently I was debating on buying some NM gear for my char when I looked at the price it was double what it used to be.So I contacted My friend thru telephone who on the Asura server and asked him to check there AH price surprisingly it was 1/3 of our price about 50k lower then what i thought was normal so I started asking myself why is it so damn high.I then did a search /sea tom all and yup you guessed it those gil sellers bot up that NM in ordelles caves
for my NM armor piece then being a cheap person I decided to solo This NM with my 2 hour went there and farmed near the NM spawn for 4 hours The toms were sitting there not moving an inch for the entire 4 hours soon as the NM pops there on it like glue one of the toms died so I responded raise? then I noticed a whm sitting next to him not moving so I figured he would raise so then I decided to go in deeper and farm fora bit
thinking I had a while before the next spawn time so I went in deep for about 40 mins cast escape cause i was kinda lost came back in and the Tom's were still there and that Tom was still dead on the floor I laffed very hard then I relized there all Bots Now I dont mind teams of NM hunters or NM botters that much
But 6 of them is ridicoulous These guys have been there for about 80 hours now and if you go on the server youll probally see them still in Ordelles cave go ahead do a /search for em and youll see If you notice this to please send a GM call get them banned this is getting out of hand ANYONE who has done a /sea and a GM call please post this Date and Time to show everyone how long they been on botting please bismarck call GM's on these people When i called the GM he told me i was the 1st person to report this I found that amazing We need more people to report these hackers To ban them please Bismarck Ban these Tom's

omg thats all one sentence O.O

I have been keeping track of the Tom's lately, and have only seen them log off (prolly dc) once. During this time, an ls mate was in Ordelle's and said chyme was just walking around because nobody was there. Too bad he was too low ; ;
I will not call a GM, especially after the proof I gave them about the Jerry's. Then did not do shi*t. Just have to suck it up and move on...

There's already plenty of evidence stacked against the Toms, the Jerrys, the Redapples, the Envoys, the Clouds, the Angels, etc etc. They still exist because SE doesn't care.

The end.

This is gonna hurt.

Hello, Infamouskiller! At least one comma would be nice. And a period.

Quote:

Period Count: 1
"Recently I was debating buying some NM gear for my char." A semicolon would function well in this context if you must make this part of the same sentence; otherwise, I recommend a period and a new sentence starting with "When..."

Quote:
So I contacted My friend

Honestly, throwing in random capitals wherever you feel like it does not balance out a lack of them where they belong.

Quote:
thru telephone who on the Asura server

Through. Also, the telephone is on the Asura server, eh? Fascinating! Gives new meaning to "bot;" maybe this is what you kindly posted about in the other thread?

Quote:
and asked him to check there AH price

Their. Time for another period!

Quote:

Period Count: 2
Here is where your random caps belongs! Also, you might want to think about breaking up this run-on sentence somewhere. Just think, if you were talking out loud, you'd've passed out by now!

Seriously... this is beyond even my powers of grammatical fury.

People, please. Crappy punctuation makes the baby Jesus cry. You don't want to make Jesus cry, now do you?

ERM,

{/cheer> for Byania's Arts degree, at least you have found some use for it on these internet forums.

On, a more serious note. That grammar check is kinda lame and same goes with you post whores putting in links to a Dictionary or Theasaurus etc.
Nobody gives a flying ****

This is not an Honours Thesis or Phd paper.
Please don't correct me on spelling Honour either.

All your trying to do is bash someone just because a lot of people don't like them as they are in the "Bad Players Thread". You must think (and it appears to be working) that bashing someone apparently no one likes will get you some phat rate ups? Or just ***** and giggles.

Qinny I'm glad someone does spell check on these forums. Not to necessarily berrate people for poor grammar (although berrating people rules in my book) but to show that with at least minimal proper grammar, you can get your point across much more effectively.

Moral of the story if you can't spell something correctly or form an intelligent sentence with a bit of structure, please do my eyes a favor and don't post.

Hahah Triz,

You bring a bit of insight. I agree with you. Just tried seeing constant posts of people that think it is amusing over and over and over.

And perhaps I was a little Harsh =D

Ohh,

Am I sensing a little "Spite!" ...It's getting hot in here.

Anywayz back to the topic at hand. Yes....we all h8 the Toms. They need to go.

As for them being bots, I don't think its true. As I was in Ordelle's for a while for the Cunning Earring quest (which I did {/cheer> ). Anyway Tomgg, ran up and waved to me as I cured him when he was low on HP when he was fighting Chyme. Bots dont do that to my knowledge.

Also upstairs where other Tom's are I have been inspected by them as well. Bots dont do that either...I think.

As far as I can see, Tomgg camps Chyme. A couple Toms are on the top floor and the others I have not yet seen. Any idea what else they are camping?

I'm pretty sure it's all Chymes. They just have a whole lot of different spawn points now.

Just think of it this way: if it wasn't the Toms monopolizing the Chymes, it'd be me. :D
#19 Jan 31 2005 at 1:15 PM Rating: Decent
Really?

Well I was at the spot where you drop down the hole to get to the floor below it.

Pretty consistant that Chyme pops there with tomgg every 7 or 8 minutes. From what I observed, he pops in a rotational cycle in that room. Could be random but each pop i seen was in a circular direction around the room at each spawn point...and a followed tomgg around the room when these popped.

Yes, Qinny they are camping the Chyme only. He pops a little more randomly now as far as location goes, but one still pops on either end of the north tunnel about every 10-12 mins.

And Qinn, never, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever admit this publicly again for your own safety buddy.

Ahhh, man, I don't care really. I help whoever, whenever, as the time may come around that I need a hand, like a {death>.

I know there is usually a person behind that character.

Yeah, a person, with no ethics whatsoever who plays a game for money and completley monopolizes items that other, legitimate players might - gasp! - actually be able to use! And then there's the whole jacking-prices-up-ridiculously-high thing and... yeah. Qinny, if you help a gilseller you're just as bad as one yourself. I for one don't differentiate. Shame on you.

Qin my friend, you have ways with words in the virtual world as you do in the real one ;p. Infamouskiller is exactly what his name states..Infamous. Not exactly for good reasons either. If you look at the last 2 pages of 'players to watch out for', there are numerous posts warning us about him. I've even had a quick run-in with him. His post was simply redundant (It doesn't take an Einstein to figure out we've beat the gil-seller threads to death) and unintelligible. Combine that with the fact he's hardly liked and he's asking for beating. I agree with Triz, there should be a rule: Must post at least at a grade 6 level. If this criteria is not met, the grammer police with add a little fun to our work day! Thanks Byaina for the entertainment. :)

"Do on to others as you would want them to do on to you".
- Some person

I am nice to everyone in the game unless they give me reason not to. I am glad I am not as little of a person as you are. I guess I am no newb to MMORPGs since I have been playing them since UO, EQ, and now FFX1. I guess I am accustomed to the fact there are people who have no lives and attempt to make a living off games like these, where I come to relax.

On the other hand, it should not be shame on the gilsellers ( i dont like the fact that there are gilsellers but eh? what can ya do?), they see an opportunity, its SHAME ON THE PEOPLE WHO BUY THE GIL CUZ THEY ARE ASSHATS AND TOO LAZY TO ACQUIRE **** OF THEIR OWN.

I should fart in your general direction.

It's shame on everybody who's involved in the entire process of trading virtual commodities. Qinny, when you see every other thread here someone complaining that they can't make money to buy their OMGUBER equipment because gilsellers have taken over their farming spots, or even people who have QUIT over gilsellers and SE's absolute refusal to do fuckall about them, then maybe you'll think twice about sending a cure a Tom's way next time. I don't think of myself as a small person at all for being disgusted by the actions of those who would ruin this game, and those who are, at best, their accomplices.

ANYWAYZ

that was my frist experience with a TOM, so you ***** should just bugger off.

Not like i run around helping every goddamn Gilseller do their job. Besides I am the ONLY person who has posted SOLID evidence that these people aren't bots. I believe weather or not that Toms were Bots was part of the subject at hand.

thread jackers, I tell ya.

EDIT, btw that was the first and only time i ever did that as I was only in ordelles for a little bit for the quest that i was doing. So really, you ppl need to back off the drama.

Thanks.
