Yeah!!! Exactly what the title says.
Be on the lookout for High-end Goldsmithing and Smithing items
appearing on the AH extremly cheap. *looks around innocently*

To all you people jacking the prices out of greed. How long do you think that will last >;p ?

Who else thinks the Vermillion Cloak is way over-priced?
What about Gold hairpin +1?
Haubergeon anyone?

Granted 1 person can't take on HNM to get the really expensive drops to sell for cheap or even do BCNM to sell drops cheaper (May I please have a Raise III \('-`)/ )but hey lets all work together to make Bismarck friendlier and the items we need more affordable.

Lets scrap the omg gilseller *points finger* Gilbuyer!!! crap.
No more *shocked look* Scorpion Harness +1 5463454543564365gil *drops dead*

Crafter's of the new generation (You know who you are!) Get up off your asses and get busy! (In actuality and you know it for fact it is not as expensive to craft the low high-end items that most people need. Down with greed >;P)

Who else is with me? Woot!!! Fight the axis of DOOM AND EVIIIIIILLLLLLL !!!11!!11!!!ONE!11!11!!!!!1!!!ELEVENTYONE!!1!!!1

Well, on the up-side, the Brigandine +1 reaching 1M has motivated me to take up Leathercrafting as my professional job. Seeing as how the two non-AF armor pieces I'll be wearing after that are also Leathercraft-main... >.>

IMHO it wont work only 5% of the population of Bismarck reads these forums, my friend you are preaching to the choir. The people that need to hear this dont post here.

Well then I'll only sell my items via these forums.

My mule is in windy woods right now, Wintskitty. Look for her to see what I have for sale, I'll make sure to price competetively while still trying to be below AH if possible :)

I thought that had to be your mule Win.

On that note my mule Luggage always stays below the AH price. You can find him in front of the AH in Windy Woods or at the top of the stairs at the MH in Woods.

Yea, that's ne reason why I been leveling smithing (Lv42). Don't know current price of Haubergeon, but if someone could please tell me price of a Damascus Ingot, and an Iron Chain because I want to sell a haubergeon for round 1.5mil, but I don't know price of ingredients

Man, if haub prices go down I will be one extremely happy samurai... Gamion I'll buy that baby from you if you manage to make it at that cost, unless you're making it for a specific person. God knows it'll take me as long to save up 2.5 mill for one from anyone else as it will for you to level smithing.

I'm with Byaina on this completely. I'm planning on stopping DRK at 60 so that I can just work on getting Haubergeon, which will take me god knows how long. Glad I started working on PLD in the meantime, since constant farming and money making makes this game {/no}{fun}. ; ;

I know it took Rahanna at least a month of saving and mining to get the gil for her Haubergeon materials. Pretty sucky, I say. I defragged it a little bit, by making the cloths for her, but geez. that's some expensive stuff!

I'm scared to see what Hairpin and Boots are right now ><

Unfortunately you are going to have to learn Japanese real quick and post this again so that the 90% of high end item crafters can see it.

ROFL Luggage is yours? :)

Seriously though, we have a lot of crafters here, we can craft items for you if you just bring ingred.

Like the beeswax, farm up some chips, get some fire crystals and distilled water. I usually can HQ a couple per stack of ingred so let me know if you need some made:)

Damascus Ingot if I am not mistaken drops off of ROC.

Current AH price is 2.1 million gil.

Talk about greed -.-......

I've reached the same Alchemy issue. Working on Echo Drops/Silent Oil now and I've pretty much worked my butt off to make the beeswax. Took my ranger to the hill in North Gustaberg and fought my way amongst farmers to get honey and beehive chips...both of which have hiked up in price to unbelievable amounts.

The chips drop more often than the honey, which is ok since I can do Silent Oils with pretty good success (lvl 18 alchemy). I spent about 30-45min up there and got 3 stacks of chips...not too bad I guess. I just created a new mule who I am using in Sandy to farm fire crystals off orcs. So much work that is truly unneeded if people would just be happy with how things were.

FYI, the reason Vermillion Cloaks are so expensive right now is that the 3 main ingredients (Damascene Cloths) are being sold at 1.4 million a piece. Multiply that by 3 and add 50k and that's how much it costs just to make it. Plus, you can't expect crafters not to charge a premium for this after the risk involved.

Like Wintaru, I remember when stacks of fire crystals were about a third of their current price. The price inflation is what has me stopped at somewhere between 54 and 55 in blacksmithing. I dropped a crap load of gil into it and so far haven't seen much return on it. :-/ And that's with mining most of my items and a lot of research on my end. Yes, that's copious amounts of suckage.

But hopefully in about a week or two I will be able to go to it again. I've noticed a small thing that will hopefully garner me enough gil to get back to it. And Byaina, if I manage to make it up to level 70 in smithing, I'll make ya a signed Haubergeon.

Indeed. If you've leveled a craft that high, you deserve to make a good profit.

Most cases its not even really greed. It's just the way economies work.

Having said that, any crafter who fights against the natural trend toward inflation has my sincerest respect.

Damascus Ingot off ROC 2.1 mil

Then having to divide it amongst an alliance, camp for hours for days hopefully to get a pull against a ton of other people and then hope the **** drop. Ingot is really rare drop from those birds also, in the end, the price justified the labor for it, no one is being greedy.
