Whenever I get back to Freedomfries and get Steal, I fully intend my macro to say "Give me Pocky."

You realize a bo staff is the type of weapon that Donatello (TMNT) uses and not like a bow and arrow, right? In other words, it's a big stick. That macro would be better for someone using a pole type weapon.

This isn't mine, though I fully intend to use it. Read about it on the Red Mage or Main forum (I forget which).

One of my favorite-ist rdm's to exp with uses that macro. I continue to both freak out and then laugh every time I see it.

You owe me exp. You know who you are!

I hate it when people put text in macros that don't need text.

Who? I've been insanely curious. Why? Because this person owes me one flatscreen monitor and a can of red bull. (Yes, I snarfed when I first saw it.)

And I need to give him (or her) props for it.

Well, while it can definitely make a mess out of party chat, it is good for role-playing, and can really make you feel more immersed in the game.

Square could really add some depth to honest-to-god RP'ing by adding a /rp chat channel that could be ignored separately from /p and /s chat, and adding some extra lines to the macro system (which freaking needs a total overhaul as it is).

It's Alauce - he doesn't directly own up to it, but you can tell if you read the posts in this thread. :)

And yes, I enjoyed that macro too. :D
