everyone probably could've seen this coming (what's in a name? ^^). explanation:

beatdown is a name you'd reserve (ironically, given his monkophobia) for a great monk, where the beatdown would be GIVEN by him (i don't think swords/axes/scythes count as a "beating", per se), or a crappy tank, such that the beatdown is what he constantly RECEIVES.

i'm glad he's not a great monk, the latter is funnier, plus we don't need any self-loathing monks.

Quite funny that you should mention that Beatdown, because even though I didn't know the whole story, I don't understand why you chose to pick on my husband because of it. Sending rude /tells to someone and then yelling at them over party chat hardly seems to be an excuse for the 3 "requirements" that you had.

If you didn't see a WHM then why did you even bother to fight? Same for the lack of a BLM? You also seem to be under the assumption that I needed something from the AF hunt. This was not the case. Like you, I came along simply to help. No strings attached. Unlike you, I stayed and fought the NM 3 times for those who needed their AF.

Now that I look back at this thread, I wondered why I even bothered to reply to it. It was and continues to be a waste of my time. I have better things to do, so this is the last I have to say on the matter.

Cat

Also, thanks Win for defending my name and such. I normally don't bother to reply to these type of posts. But this one irritated me for some reason.

And you wonder why people don't like you? I've said this before, but, just because you're level 70+ doesn't make you a god, but, you know, feel free to continue to think so.

Perhaps you know the saying "Actions speak louder than words?" It's not just there to sound pretty you know.

1.) The word is dumb not "dum"

2.) Insulting people in such a way as calling them a "dum ***" isn't going to help your cause at all and surely isn't winning people over to your side on this matter.

3.) Even though people are /anon, it's very hard not to notice a RDM in full AF gear. Matter of fact, I think it would be hard not to notice which job is which in any of their AF gear, especially at your level.

4.) You stated previously that you didn't care what others think, yet you continue to post about this subject, only proving that you DO care what others think. Your continued comments do nothing but make you look worse, so do yourself a favor and stop posting.

Hah, it's because of ***** like you that I refuse to party with Paladins. And if you think about it, it all makes sense. Almost every Paladin I've ever met has horrible grammar, can't hold hate for ****, and has this MASSIVE Egocentric aura about them. You just.. don't realize when you're in the wrong, do you? Hell, you don't even realize when you're outnumbered and beaten.

It really is people like you that give Paladins a bad name. It's people like you that make people like me bitter, and make us feel sorry for the lower levels, because we know that one day, they'll run into you, ask you for help, and get stuck listening to your whinging and ******** for hours on end while you grudgingly go along on an AF run and make everybody miserable with your pathetic presence.

There are very few people in this game I can call despicable with no remorse. You're one of them.

<.<

Dun mind me, just rating Beatdown into oblivion so his posts don't show up on my filters.

I wouldn't judge all PLD's Alauce, I know of at least 3 that would smoke this asshat. ^^

Edit:

Thought I would add that yes, a lot of the posters here are under level 60. However, a LOT of people read these boards and never (or rarely) post. You wouldn't believe how many tells I get saying "Wintaru, Defender of Justice right? From Alla?" and these are people I've never seen post.

My point is that you are showing your true colors to more people than you think, and that your attitude will catch up with you in this game at some point. And when that happens, you might as well delete your char. and start over or move on because people won't want anything to do with you.

I'm a 68 RDM. I'm in a linkshell that regularly does HNMs, sky events, god runs, missions, coffer runs, BC runs, and in general helps anybody out that asks.

What help could you possibly offer me? You're shit on the heel of my boot. You're just a whingy, annoying little sod that thinks he's top shit because he's level 70.

There's a level 49 Paladin in my linkshell. And I guarantee you he knows more about the job that you do. I guarantee you he'd be better as a tank than you would. And, it goes without a doubt, that I can guaran-fucking-tee you that he is a better person than you are.

I don't know you outside this game. I don't give a flying rat's *** if you're the president of some backwater country, or the head CEO of a large corporation. I don't care if you're a millionaire, or if you're playing from a Cyber Cafe. To me you're just one of many thousands playing a game. You're not special. You're not unique. You are just some arrogant little kid hiding behind a computer screen, thinking he's top dog.

First let me say that I no longer play this game and part of the reason is i got sick and tired of people like you Beatdown. I'm satisfied most of the time just to watch some of you go at it to see who has the biggest e-wang But you've pissed me off when you attacked Cat and treated her husband Yosh like dirt. These people mean a lot to me. I also know Xano and have respect for him so listen up you dirt-monkey, these aren't people you word-fight with cause you're opening a huge can of worms. I can't believe people like you still get invited to do anything in game. Do everyone a favor and sit on a pole and rotate. My advise to you is to put the cheetos down, take a bath or 2 and have some RL contact cause this is not the way you treat people, you sack of shit. The only thing i can tell you is what goes around comes around and by god i hope that you have the toughest time doing absolutely anything worthwhile end-game. Don't mess with Cat or Yosh again. Think before you speak. Now GFY

From what I remember yo Dum *** is the one who cant keep refresh up THE ONLY REASON FOR AN RDM....

But don't talk crap LIST YOUR LS...

Man, you must be a glutton for punishment. My linkshell is Aurora. We've fought Adamantoise, Aspidochelone, Simurgh, Serket, Roc, Bune, Genbu, Suzaku, Seiryu, Byakko and numerous others. We've succesfully completed Divine Might, twice in a row.

And think you'll find yourself quite mistaken about the refresh issue. I keep a very tight refresh cycle, and anybody who's partied with me knows that. I debuff, I heal, I nuke, I refresh, I haste.

Where the blue fuck do you get off calling me a lying bitch? Seriously. What the hell do you know about me? Just because your sorry **** can't keep a linkshell doesn't mean everybody else is just like you.

Ah I guess I've waited long enough to throw some pennies in the pond.

My encounter was in Eldieme Necropolis, helping someone get their G1 papyrus. I was only, hell I guess 51 at the time, maybe a lil higher. Beat was I think 66. The monk was 50. So we started in on an aggro'd hound, when another hound linked/aggro'd (whichever.) Now I'm 62, and I can solo those hounds, but at 50, I wasn't so happy to see a link. So I try to pull out Shiva to get a lil Sleepga on, but I get interupted, so I figure perhaps Thunderspark with Ramuh will get some hate from the link. I've got well over half MP, and Beat's no where near dead. Yet he starts screaming for cures.

I'm not even bothering to type since I'm trying to take care of the other. Again damn controller, I get interupted. So I just forget it, and cure him for HP he really didn't need, since both hounds were pretty much done by that point.

So after both are done, and we're resting he starts yelling at me about how to do my job. At 66 he's scared of (prolly at that point) too weak? I couldn't take the hassling anymore, apologized to the monk, quit the party, and removed my pearl (we were all in the same linkshell.) He kept sending tells (again, using ***...I guess all this time, no new insults) so I /blist'd him for a while.

Well, what made it more fun, was instead of keeping it an internal linkshell issue, he decideds, in the thread here on public Alla forums that the linkshell leader had made for our L/S, to publicly try to humiliate me claiming I wasn't doing my job.

Needless to say, I haven't stepped foot back into that linkshell. The linkshell soon after died afaik.

Oh and don't forget the time in Davoi pulling coffer key mobs Beat that was fun. I, a Summoner, was able to pull without links, yet you weren't. That was comical.

I don't know for sure if he's a bad "player." I think he just has a bad attitude, that if he cleaned up, perhaps he could be a great PLD.

As for not helping people under 70, I'm only level 62 sure...but I'm drinking milk, so when I'm 70, I'm hot commodity for HNMs...don't come looking to me for SMN help hehe.

I guess at the end of it all, I should be thanking you Beat, you drove me from a linkshell, into one I am proud to call my home, my yellow globe next to my name. I couldn't be happier.

Wow, good job on reading there Beat. I said I was trying to sleep the other mob. You sure don't pay attention do you?

lol.

As for leaving L/S members like that, you also don't treat L/S members that way either Beat, take a dose of your own medicine (please let it be poison potion >.<) That's why I left, because you don't know how to treat people.

Not like your opinion matters to me anymore, haha. Good luck in your future in FFXI. ^^

This part just amused me. Where do you get off? You make a demand like this and then ***** about it when it's not followed. But when a whm says she won't pt without a mnk you get your panties in a bunch, call it being strongarmed lol.

I see absolutely nothing wrong with what anyone else did in the OP. I mean, what would make you happy in that situation, any whm you invite should just drop everyting and pt with a total stranger at a moment's notice over her friend that has been with her for the entire game?

Hypocrite
