If I don't die from laughter, I might start playing again soon. Been off and on (and mostly off) for a long while now (noticed I haven't leveled, not even a teeny TINY bit, in forever?)
But I think I really am going to die of laughter from that.

I know Arondight for about nearly a decade ago, so the ribbing can get pretty out there.
Speaking of ribbing, what kind of grammar was that?! "For about nearly a decade ago..."? Word syntax order not in?
Just playing. ^^

I've been doing what the same as you, so I know where you're coming from. And if ya ever want some conversation when the linkshell's quiet, send me a /tell.
It's true for me as well. Maybe we should create a linkshell called the "Save me from bordom as I smack mobs around for 40 hours straight to make 25 gil" Linkshell, to provide entertainment while we all sit here with bloodshot eyes and play Torture Me For Money.
[Edit: Changed "blood shot eyes" to "bloodshot eyes". "Bloodshot eyes" are eyes that are red from staring at your HELM/farming area of choice for one third of your entire life, and most of your FFXI life, trying to make enough money to buy a frickin' HAT, only to watch the price go up. "Blood shot eyes" is a grammatically incomplete clause which seems to be describing a magical pool of blood that occassionally fires eyeballs from out of its depths into the faces of unwary travellers.
Didn't want there to be any confusion.
