~ A Formal, Public Apology to Eluswife ~Follow

I was with my set party (with a couple pickup players, since the
PLD and SAM took off that night) and we were exping in Den of
Rancor.

Eluswife and her party were there as well, at the tunnel camp
near Pucks, while we were at the entrance camp.

On the hunt for more lizards, I stopped by their camp to see how
they were doing, and they were engaged with a Tormentor (of
course). Then I had noticed another one close to their party, I
could track it, it was not slept or claimed, and looked to be
just standing there. I figured I would save them from a
potential link, so I pulled it, knowing a Tormentor was expected
to pop in tunnel soon, on the way back.

I run back to party, then notice that I am not being followed, so
I Flee back. I turn the corner to see Eluswife getting beat up
on by the Tormentor I had pulled, and she dies. >< I go to hit
Call for Help, and her party warps out at the time, and
naturally, the lizard comes sauntering over to me. I run back to
my party, explaining to them what happened, and sending /tells to
Eluswife, apologizing vehemently over my error in judgement on
pulling a lizard that apparently had *already* linked to their
group.

She tells me it's ok, and it happens, even though I still feel
like an idiot. Her party zones back in, and the DRK (Babagana)
shakes his head at me in /em, and proceeds to send me a tell on
how he is not trying to get on me, but "i should really be more
careful and not pull other party's links, and don't do it again."

Of course I would have never done it, if I had noticed it had
already linked. To me, it was not moving, just hanging out
waiting for some party to kill it. ><;

She then informs me that a) someone in her party already
contacted a GM, and b) some one or some people in her party think
I am a gil farmer. /boggle

She apologizes now to me, go figure, for the misunderstanding,
which is odd, because I have partied with a few people in her
party before; Blgnasty, Mylinda, and Vycious
(the first two were as recent as just this past weekend)

They (whoever) end up telling the GM it was a mistake and all is
well. Shortly thereafter they leave (for another camp, I assume)
I'm just sorry I was to blame for being the rough start to their
exp night. ;_;

Before they did leave however, I did go over there personally,
and apologize to the entire party in /say, just to clear things
up.

Anyone that knows me (or has partied with me) knows the last
thought on my mind is to intentionally MPK someone, or better yet,
even be greedy in competition with other parties for pulls.

Regardless, I could have used better judgement.

So, once again, very publicy...
