does marages in FF11 allow same sex marriage and b/c its a game i dont think there should be any sueing for those rights its a game

Strangely enough, I don't think in-game marriages allow for same-sex chars. I vaguely remember asking myself that question when I was reading the compendium about weddings.

I don't see why there would be a constraint though. Seems a bit ridiculous. Even if SE has serious discrimination problems, there is still the issue of girls playing guys and vice-versa. If my boyfriend were playing a Mithra, I'd still insist on marrying his character. O.o

Someone should look into this, I think it's an interesting question. ^^

nah they clearly say it in the informations about wedding, cant get maried with same gender, i wonder if they can do it in WoW since there is no gender specific equipment and wedding dress and tuxedos can be equiped by male or female.
I only knew two girls that could have joined that linkshell, they're retired from ffxi now tho, would have told them about this ls if they we're still around ; ;

Actually I think it would be more accurate to describe Fourth Dimension(my LS btw) is straight-friendly with a few straight members :D
