Has anyone ever noticed after playing FFXI for like 5days in a row and nothing else, that when you switch to another game you are absolutely horrible at it? I used to be good at shooting games such as socom and halo, but after getting used to the ffxi camera, I can't aim right, I just wanted to see if anyone else has experienced this.

Lol There's nothing worse than realizing you can't auto-run in other games, or that you don't have macros.

Other games?!?!?!

There's other games out there? >.>

You're lying, right? <.<

lol. well, I must say that the only other game I'd been playing was GTA: San Andreas, but for some reason, this GTA wasn't doing it for me. So, all I have to look forward to now is Xenosaga 2 next month.

Since I bought this game in August 2004, I have not played another game. Not one.

Which is gonna soon suck, because I was so looking forward to Xenosaga II... doubt I will bother with it though. Until SE shuts down the servers, I'll probably not play anything else.

well, since my school sucks and you can only have one MAC address registered with the server, I leave my PS2 and FFXI at home. So, Xenosage will give me something to play during the week while I'm down at school. So, I'm excited, I know that much. Plus, isn't FFXII coming out this summer?

Ya if I can tear myself away I'll be playing Xenosaga II.

I believe FFXII is coming out this summer, if you look at screens on gamespot.com it looks pretty cool. Seems that you will be able to avoid the random encounters with monsters if you want. Also seems like it's going back to it's roots somewhat.

I was at the family's place this weekend but I brought my PS2 and I dusted of FFIX, forgot how much fun that was. Might have to take a few days off FFXI and give it a try again.

I took a break (about a week) from FFXI when I bought GTA: San Andreas. After I got used to the controls for that, I was all over the place when I logged back into FFXI. The camera controls are exactly opposite from those in FFXI so I would always turn the opposite way I wanted to go. It was very annoying.

I'll have the same problem when I decide to put GTA back in. I have a feeling I'll be an easy target for the rival gangs :-P

I accually did one all with knife O_o.

Anyway I play call of duty on my comp and I just virtually suck after straight exping =P

Please tell me I'm not the only one that has tried to auto run in other games. -_-

All the time. Seriously. All the frickin' time. Doesn't matter what game. I have tried to auto-run in:

Final Fantasy X
Metroid Prime 2: Echoes (despite it being a completely different controller, whose L button you constantly use for other purposes such as target lock, scanning, and the grapple beam... -_-)
Lunar 2: Eternal Blue (Seriously)
Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories (o.O)
Rudra no Hihou (despite the fact that I'm playing the game on a PC without the benefit of a controller, I actually hit the button assigned as the L button expecting to autorun.

I'm sure I can think of more. My favorite is MP2. I was playing for probably 5 hours straight, no problem, never thought of it. Then at one random point I just start spamming L to auto-run. It took me a minute to figure out why the camera kept spazzing to look at stuff and no auto-run engaged.
