Mysticmaker Profblix Assassination Party. ^^Follow

Guys, I need a little help ;)

I've reached level 56 now, and I would very much like to have a Moldavite Earring. This is a rare/ex piece of equipment, dropped from an NM goblin in the Labyrinth of Onzozo called Mysticmaker Profblix. It gives +5 to Magic Attack Bonus.

Mysticmaker pops in a room filled with mobs that will still aggro me. >< I went in with a friend from my LS, who had brought along a lvl 72 RDM friend; unfortunately I had a Vert death, and passed on the earring that dropped (my friend is a BLM, and organized the whole adventure, so that was only fair).

If you would like to have an earring, and can help me out in getting one, I am willing to stay and help until everyone who needs an earring gets one. I am willing to pay, if you don't need the earring but can help me nab it.

Please PM me or message me in-game, feel free to friend-list me in order to leave a message. I do have a THF sub leveled to 16, and am willing to strap that on to possibly help the drop.

Thank you so so so much, all of those that have offered help, so far I think we're looking at Saturday for the expedition.
Given the number of people that need earrings, we may not be able to get all needed drops on that day. But I will continue to help everyone who goes to get an earring, until everyone has one.

I'll see your Treasure Hunter 1, and raise you Treasure Hunter 2.^^
That way, you can use /BLM to assist on the kill.

Even though I would not mind attempting to solo him for fun, not
sure how well that would go for me with -aga spells being cast,
and I don't know how well Utsusemi deals with Ancient Magic. ><;

Alla reports him as level 50, but I always take their NM levels with
a grain of salt.

I most certainly do not require any payment for my assistance, and
would refuse if you offered it to me anyway.

I have set party night on Tuesday, Thursday, and Sunday, but am
basically a lonesome kitteh all other nights.^^;

I'll be on tonight and tomorrow, more or less most of the day, and I'll see if I can get this all together; I forgot to mention, I will pass on ALL drops aside from the earring. Profblix also tends to drop decent Thunder scrolls: Thunder IV and Thunder III dropped from him the two times we got him, and he usually drops miscellaneous goblin stuff like armors and masks.

In addition there are lots of cockatrices around his pop area; these con DC to me at 56. Profblix is on a two-hour pop cycle, so I'll help farm meats and skins (both of which drop a lot from them), and will happily pass on them.

I maybe interested in fight him. I fought him on 5 diff occasions now w/ friends and I saw the drop once and my friend won the lot. I really hate this guy cuz he keeps giving me thunder spells and not the earring! He also manage to hit me w/ tornado 2xs on 2 different occasions causing me to die. This guys is my mortal enemy atm. So message me and i will see. If we all join do we lot for people who need it or what?

You know I would never forgive myself if I weren't there to help you get your earring, so you better make sure you tell me when you're going so I can come along =:P.

Just thought I might share my experiences with him if you are planning a camp. Everytime I tried to get the earring I went to Onzozo solo, and got a time of death. Profblix popped between 2 hours and 2:30 after that every time I saw him (probably around 10 cycles). Idk, but if you are planning on doing this as a group you'll have a lot of downtime for sure. Really i think you could all leave as long as you are back for the 2 hour mark.


Btw I finally got my earring, but i'm so very /angry at this gob I'd be up for skoolin him again.

Me and about 6 or seven others in my LS went and killed this guy the other night in about 40 secs, it was such a dissapointment.

Heh, and of course I don't see this until it's too late.

If you guys are planning on another run, think I could get in? Name's Fortytwo, I'm blm47/rdm23 so I can't help much with combat, but I need the earring.
