This game, way too long. Not leaving, not staying, just severly decreasing my play time and my reading of the alla forums.
I started this game with the intention of seeing the end game as that was what I did in Everquest (one). But, after reading that "HNM Cheating 101" thread and the journal entry that led up to that post I can see that this end game is absolutely no different then Everquest's "end game." I worked my butt off and my school suffered to get "uber" in EQ and I helped lead my guild on many of their first successful attempts on uber mobs. I wanted to help people here to do that too, there's nothing better then killing Uber_Mob_01 with a group of dedicated friends then maybe getting loot off that mob or leading the raid itself.
I figured FFXI might be a little different in the end. Well, it's not, same people who are loot hungry, same people who couldn't care about loot, same people who cheat to get what they want. Different game.
I have school, I think I'll try to apply all the energy (7-9 hours a night, sheesh) on Chemistry and Calculus that I would have applied to horrible groups and combining stacks upon stacks of materials for that "Your Clothcraft skill has increased 0.1".
I didn't get to know most of you, wish I could have, some of you I'm glad I didn't talk to very much lol.
I'll still be in the game every once in awhile, but I won't be posting here much anymore because I just won't have the time.
Girl Friend + Organic Chem(II) + Calculus(II) + Arena Cross Season = Not much time left for FFXI/Alla.
Peace guys.
