Two nights ago something happened that made me smile and have a little more fun that normal... pretty silly little thing but here it is.
Unbeknownst to me, my left channel speaker was out on my stereo (I only use it for FFXI lol, PS2>TV>BIG AUDIO SOUND).
Well it kicked in. Now ALL the music sounds completely different. Seems I've only ever heard the right channel. Over five months I've been playing on one speaker lol.
Is there something in the game recently that you've noticed that put a smile on your face, or made you say "cool!" out loud, you know something that after months of playing you finally noticed?
I now have to run to every zone I've ever been in to hear the music for the first time.... should be an adventure!

Go run around Castle Zvahl. It sounds really cool with good speakers. Make sure to take people with really cool weapon skills with you too ^^

wiring it into your housespeakers for subwoofers are fun too, sometimes as much background noise as star trek episodes (no, i'm not a trekkie but that almost sub audible background can get eerie fast :D)

About a month ago I decided to get an S-Video cable instead of using the RCA's that I had been. Went over to Radio Shack, they had this one cable that worked for Xbox, Game Cube, or PS2 so I picked that up since I have a Cube too.
All I gotta say is WHOA! The graphics are way better, the difference is so noticable that I can't believe I hadn't done this sooner. Now I want to get a component ready TV and try that out hehe.
Surround sound is enabled Syn, you're right, it rocks
I love cranking the woofer up during battle, Holy sounds awsome! Also our group as the sweetest Monk you'll ever come across (Catgirl), and when she unleashes a Raging Fists it wakes up the neighbors ^^
We have a tendancy to make our last fight of every XP session a 2-hour battle, and it's also very cool to hear our BLM (Feroh) fire up some AM on the poor monster, that 17 seconds of gathering MP sounds very cool.

Verix took me and Kulganflame to the culmination of my gaming experience a day or two ago. When we went there, we sat there in awe for a good long time, silence, and wows.... It's not much, but when you see the old kingdom of Tavnazia for the first time the way Aldo saw it... well, that was it for me.
I have found someone in game that I really enjoy hanging out with, does that count? ^^

I like changing my equipment in the middle of xping and seeing if anybody notices. It makes me giggle.
speaking of speakers i have a 7.1 surround system for PC and its awesome i can hear whm's casting from behind and other background music/whatnot when you know whats going on ny sound (like being attacked) you suddenly know what to do. if there was no sound you're likly to run slower because when you hear what a good hit sounds like on yourself ,you're lible to run MUCH faster lol.
I d/l'ed CoP yesterday and it brought a big smile to my face when i heard the new music at the 'Select Character' screen.

I played without sound for months (didn't even realize I had mute on my computer). I turned it off to play some music (with Bose Headphones).
Started playing the game a bit later and BAM! WTH!! *SOUND*
Then my party started the /clap thing and the <call1> <call6> , etc.
I felt like it was Christmas all over again.

I recently discovered the joys of fishing on my mule. After slapping my friends around telling them they were wasting their time fishing I finially now know why they were doing it so much.
