With a Goran and a Garand on the same server it was bound to happen that Garan would be a target of mistaken identity.

As long as those two don't do anything stupid that people blame me for by mistake I could care less.... besides it's fun to play along sometimes..

Something like that kind of happens with Aphrodisiak and I. When we're invited to a random PT the first part of our name is the exact same, and we have been mistaken for each other a number of times.

Apparently someone thought I was his wife once. ^^; Yeah.

This monk I know goes by the name of Lyden. I never get mistaken for him seeing as how hes a galka and i'm not :P
It's just wierd having to run by him in Jeuno is all. Besides that, this taru I know goes by the name of Haduken and another taru goes by the name of Hadoken. Sometimes, a few of my LS members have accidentally slapped Hadoken mistaking him for Haduken :P

I know the Natajara you are speaking about since he is in my LS. I've seen you a few times in game and almost made that mistake. I've finally got you straighten out on this board espcially since Natajara doesn't post here.

I get confused all the time for other people. There are too many Lyli's on this server. So much for me thinking I had an original name -_-;;

What's really bad though is now that I'm a SMN there's another higher level better female hume SMN that looks just like me called Lliandra (forgive me if I got this wrong, I haven't played in weeks). I get asked all the time if I'm him or his mule O_o I consider it a complement though ^_^

No, my problem has been being mistaken for a gilfarmer. Way WAY back in the day (my first time through Qufim), I had one of the Jerrys as me if I was Chinese. I replied "No" and wondered what the hell that was all about.

About a month ago, but maybe longer, my Taru mule in Sandy, Zanozonax, was accused of being a gilfarmer. I was just running along to the delivery person in Port Sandy, when this guy Rasiki goes to me, "I HATE YOU." I go back to him, "Excuse me?" He goes, "You gilfarmers are ruining the game and it's not fair." (trust me, I've cleaned it up. The typing was much worse than that.) I go to myself, wtf? He says something else to me, to which I replied, "I'm not a gilfarmer, you moron. This is a mule."

Can't wait until my cutie lil female Taru mule in Windy, Zorazonax, gets accused of the same thing. -_-

lol Xano, that has to suck. Good thing you haven't been reported to a GM by now. I would think that with all the time you spent farming getting your Snipers, well... hehe you get the idea XD.

But, anyways, so as not to divert from the theme of this thread, there has been one instance of when my name has been mistaken for anothers.

My main character, Chibikaiser, has been mistaken for Chikaizer. I used to get free teles because of that little confusion ^^;. But after explaining that I wasn't who he thought I was, the WHM decided to let me have the freebies anyways =:P.

Imagine how I felt when I saw Natajara. It was like 3 days into the game. Just kinda wandering, explored Konschtat a bit without dying and was coming back. And right as I hit the zone to North Gustaberg, Natajara pops up right next to me.

I used to joke with a friend of mine that Narajara was my arch enemy.

Hahaha, Ya me and Aphrodita got mistaken quite a few times. I've spoken to her and she says it happened around 6-7 times. This means we are both very popular ^^. And yes someone actually thought I was Aphrodita's husband, lol.

Funny thing about Zelly, it's derived from his first character's name, Godzell. Amusing that Zylle gets mistaken for what started out as someone's nickname.
