TheGuild is holding its first meeting!Follow

Hello everyone. Its your friendly neighborhood chef Drowsorez announcing the very first meeting of the new LS TheGuild. Its been brought up before and now we're trying to get things into full swing.

But for those who don't wanna read, here is a quick synopsis. We are a crafting exclusive guild setup to help people with crafting. Simple huh?

The problem with an LS like this is getting people to be on all the time. But we have come up with a solution that may help get people involved. We will hold weekly meetings where, basically, everyone brings everything they have to the table and we can find buyers and sellers directly online once a week. In a nutshell, if you have something to sell that can be used by a crafter, we hope that you can find them here once a week. We can also use this time to find out who is selling what and, hopefully, we can establish connections with people that will last throughout their entire crafting career.

This is a personal example based on my past experience. Feel free to skip as I am only using it to highlight why i think an LS such as this may be helpful.

-A specific example would be Gelatin, an item i use to make rolanberry pies. Last week i needed a lot of them, and everyone was out including, surprisingly, windurst itself. Now lets just say during one of the meetings i found out that there was someone in Bonecraft was skilling up on gelatin this week. Now he has a buyer and he can continue to skillup constantly without having to pause to empty his inventory in the AH or sit up all nite with his bazaar, praying for a level 85+ cook to come by and notice his stuff.

The exact way the meetings will be held is still being worked out, please visit the link at the bottom of this post to see the specific thread regarding these meetings. The nuts and bolts are still being worked out and we would appreciate any input from anyone who has ideas.

The nice thing about the meetings is, if you really wanted, you wouldn't even have to be present to see what everyone is selling. You could just equip the LS during meeting times, walk away, and come back and check if anyone has anything of interest for sale. Although we would like everyone to participate, it is totally not necessary.

Meeting time and place(s)
We plan to have people in all major port cities with pearlsacks handing out pearls to anyone who is interested. The time of the meeting is 10 PM EST Friday and we will be handing out pearls from 9-10 PM EST. Specific names of these people will be posted on the link below. If you're having trouble finding someone, feel free to send a /tell to Drowsorez during that time, thats me, and i will be happy to steer you into one of our members handing out pearls.

I would encourage anyone interested in crafting or anyone interested in getting craft supplies in bulk (ie i have a lot of cheifkabobs i need to sell now, arrows for rangers, bait for fisherman, etc.), or dumping craft supplies in bulk, to consider picking up a pearl. I dont think there is anyone within the server that couldn't use a pearl during these meetings. And please, click the link below and get up to speed. One last thing. To all the guys sending me /tells during the game asking for pearls...I am rarely online. My character always is, but i am only on for about an hour a day. Don't feel offended if i don't answer. Its probably because im doing something more important...like...washing my socks?
