Apparently if you trade any item to them (1 gil will do it) they will give you a random buff in return (Ice Spikes, Blaze Spikes etc)

I tried crystalls, meat, and equipment with no luck.
I'd assume they're like the monkeys from last year. This will be the year of the rooster afterall.
I gave the bird of wonder a couple lightning crystals, and he gave me some odd message about it being the year of the rooster. It also gave me the enthunder and Barthunder effects for like a minute.
I gave it gil, but it gave it back ^^ yet it still gave me the effects. Both Enthunder and Shock Spikes ^.^
