i'm going to be starting an account soon, and able to play on a regular schedule starting in february of '05. i have previous experience, and built a decent rep as a WHM named Breuklen on Leviathan. i took that character to lvl 25 WHM, as well as lvl 15 WAR, lvl 13 BLM, and lvl 9 on both MNK and RDM. this short resume is only to show that i have already gone thru many of the growing pains of new players, and that i am capable of performing a variety of roles in a party structure.
all of that said, i am looking for a small group of players willing to form a group to progress through the game from low levels as a static unit. in short, i would like to have a really good roleplaying experience of this game over the next year, and am willing to set schedules and commit to such a group.
judging by the posts/threads here, i have decided that bismarck is probably the best server for such an endeavor. i base this on the number of posters that play the game for fun and not as elitists, who don't simply care about powerleveling and do not shudder in fear of seeming to be 'gimp n00bs' to their petty, elitist friends.
i'm only posting this to gain an idea of how much interest there is on Bismarck in such a group. if there is none, just ignore it, and i'll attempt to make relationships in-game, come february.

Somewhere, you might have to search for the thread, is a thread asking about starting a roleplaying LS... I know I was interested, but I am not in game at the moment...
I really think that roleplaying is a good way to enhance this game, a great way in fact. Id love to see more roleplayers on Bismarck ^^

I'm reposting it for you - you're more likely to find members who would be willing to roleplay the 'growing up' of a party of six through our link ^^ If you'd rather not join, it's perfectly understandable.
Also, one last thing before my repost. I have a hume by the name of Selbina that I'd like to level to AT LEAST 30 in warrior, because I plan on taking her all the way as a ninja :) She's level 2 right now, if you're interested. I'm an avid roleplayer, so this would be a grand excuse to finally dust her off and use her ^^

We have the roleplaying linkshell made per-to request. ^^
We've merged the only two roleplaying linkshells I can remember since I started this game; Nightmasks and Ridir, into one spiffy linkshell: Dawn.
We also promised Iverin a theater troupe - as soon as we get our official boards set up, we can organize a show with a few members. ^^ The temporary boards can be found at: http://www.ultimaforce.net, as well as a list of sackholders and some half-finished guidelines :) Send a /tell sometime! We're getting moderately populated with members - bigger by the day, and twice as merry ^^

Hello,
I am also looking for a new home, so to speak. I have played on a few other servers, and I have quite a bit of experience with the game.
My RPing skills are not terrific, something I wish to improve. Unfortunately there is not much of a forum where I am at now (Garuda) to work on that.
I would appreciate any information and/or a WP to get me onto the Bismarck server. I would also do my best to repay the kindness at the first opportunity.

i'm actually excited now. i'll work on a backstory and get the hardware end of the game going ASAP. i will have to take a break in january to get some RL things running smoothly, but i will endeavor to make it as short as possible.
i am interested in all above offers -
1)Ferra: as to meeting Selbina (oh, what nationality? i'll need to start there), and a Dawn pearl
2)Oniyagi: as to the WP; PM in a day or two
3)everyone on this thread and the other: i'm totally into doing a theatre troupe. that sounds wicked fun, and i'd love to have Iverin come back to a dream made (virtual?) reality. i hear tell of disused homes beneath Bastok that could be used as rehearsal spaces... and maybe as crafting circles, too.
