I find the speculation that card hunting in party tends to result in more cards.

Anyone for some scavenger hunting?

When you do get back, I'll introduce you to my friend Soterias. She's a HGMH (Home & Garden Mog House) fanatic too. Smiley: wink2

Heh, I was just about to post that link ^^

Having been attempting to do this quest alone (damn time zones!) for over an hour and having a grand total of two cards! I can say this is the most annoying quest ever.

It's just like mining, except less profitable and more frustrating. And if you don't like having mining points snatched out from under your nose, I really don't advise playing this quest! (and I'm not just talking about the gobs)

Perhaps it was mainly due to playing on my own and the fact that there were too many people in S Gusty taking the soils too fast, but I really wasn't enjoying myself. I tried heading up to Konschtat Highlands, but didn't see a single soil up there!

Still, if you wanna give it a go, good luck. To be honest, the only item I'm interested in is the mandragora belt for sh*ts and giggles and so I don't think it's worth the hassle.

It is kinda cool seeing Gobs ride areound on bocos though.

OMG!! O_O Whoa!

That is creepy....

On bismarck, I play as an Elvaan named Soterios... In fact, Soterios is the main online game playing name I use. XD It is also funny that I am obsessed with furniture too. I'll have to meet this girl. :3

EDIT: I garden a lot too... To avoid going back to the dunes. :P Make gil not war.

EDIT2: Thank you for the links! They are very helpful. I'll be putting them in my other Linkshells forum once I get the chance to check this event out myself.

With an alliance of 9 people we were able to get all the cards except for the ebisu card very quickly in Tahroing Canyon. The ebisu card then seemed to drop 5/10 times in Batilla Downs. The alliance worked very well because while in the canyon if someone left to get their necklace, when they got back they got the first 6 cards as soon as they walked into the zone. Now, my question is this. Has anyone seen the goblin rider that has a name? Every goblin ive seen has been Goblin Rider, except once, while in South Gustaberg. I saw a goblin on a choco named Flsomething. Anyone know anything about this, why there would be a named goblin riding around? Maybe you can give him all the cards and get something from him?

Yeah I've seen the named gob riding around Gusty. He "beat" me to a soil today (I was levelling thf and only half-assedly getting soils if they appeared under my nose) and said something like "Wonder how much I can get for this in a pawn shop?"

Seems to me like whatever he's doing, he's not playing the game to help the goblins, he's collecting cards for personal gain. I tried talking to him to see if maybe he would let you swap cards or buy other cards off him. No dice, instead his 'boco "wark"-ed and he rode off. I swear the fekkir flipped me off as he rode away too! I was a little too slow on my screencap hotkey though.
