Um.. as a thf we sort of have a higher advantage of making gil.. Anywho now that i recently opened up rng and nin my far from gil stable character needs some dough.. Anywho a friend of mine whos been playing this bad boy sence it pc release in America suggested I take up a craft...I obviously told him about how I'm not cool about the whole "you got to spend money to make money" factor of all crafts. So he suggests his craft fishing.. So he sends me a mithra rod and sa..something tackle.. But fishing is so time consuming.. Sorry about the ranting there but I hear it pays off.. but not till like 60 and over.. /sigh.. Well I hope someone reads this and provides some feedback if I should make fishing my thing.. Thanks in advance and if you see me fishing in good old Bk please ask me my skill lvl ...i hope i stick to it..

I like fishing, but have unfortunately found that it takes a long time and constant use to level. I prefer the other crafts and suggest Clothcrafting. I made decent money on it and still do, making a Fisherman's Tunica runs about 5k or less (if you farmyour materials) and they sell for 7-10k depending. You need about 25 Cloth to make them. You could also do Cooking. At level 25 you can make Insect Paste...which costs little to nothing to make and sells like crazy! If I ever need quick gil I make a load of Insect Paste. Thank you for your input.I may just take up cloth cfarting and cooking like you suggested.. I found those craft forums very helpful and thank you again.. I was surprised to see someone replied..didn't think anyone cared..

It really depnds on your main job. Me personally, as a blm now and a Drk and a Sam before, i took up cooking, so i can make pies for my mage and kabobs for my DD. If you were a rng, then maybe woodworking and crafts like that. Fishing, everyone i think should have a bit levelled, which im about to go do myself, i like to fish if i dont feel like lving and just want to stand somewhere, heh, and again cooking, helps fishing,--Insect paste ;) saves you loads of gil. heh
