OK, first things first. I'm not planning on fighting this fekkir! (at least not for quite some time ^^) but since seeing screencaps of her, plus the fact she's one of my favourite dragons in the FF series, I wanna go pay her a visit.

I realise I don't have much to gain from this other than {death} but I like exploring anyway. All I'm really hoping for is some screenshots of my own and possibly to watch her tear some people a new one ^^

What's the point of this post? I hear everyone cry. Well I was wondering if it were possible for a lvl36-40 Dragoon to get to Atto<tab> chasm to go dragonwatching? I can possibly get a few people to tag along, but probably no high levels as I wouldn't want my high level friends to lose exp from this anyway.

My own exp is of little importance. Just so long as I get to see Tiamat before I get trounced. Is it doable? and what would I need to take? (I'm presuming Prism Powders and Silent Oils)

Sorry for the long post, but any info would be great.

Tiamat's very far into Attohwa Chasm, so unless you have a mage job or an obscenely large supply if silent oils and prism powders, you're pretty much stuck hoping. In order to get to Tiamat, you have to go past Tracker Antlions - XP Fodder for level 62+.

Ouch! Yeah I don't wanna be fighting those.

Looks like I'll have to put this off for a while. Thanks for the info anyway.

Tiamat Claimed!

Celestia uses Mug on Tiamat.
Celestia fails to Mug Tiamat.

Guess you haven't been there before. Track Antlions don't attack you, only the cave antlions do which spawn when you walk over the cracks. Not sure about the scorpions but they're only in the very first part when you get out of the cave. There are worms and the hecta-eyes mobs when you first zone in also.

You can easily get to Tiamat off a few silent oils and maybe a prism powder or two for the scorpions. Always have silent oil on for when you walk across the cracks and bring some antidotes for the poison that you will get from walking near the plants.

My LS has come very close to beating it but always ran into some glitch. We haven't gone for him recently since we're lacking on people due to WoW. I'd like to see IRON try to pull something off and beat him but I doubt that'd happen.

Yes, yes I have been there. I XPed off the Antlions there at 62-63. I may not have the names right, and for that I apologize, but I know for a fact that they do aggro to sound.
