Am I the only one that feels the absence of one of Vana'diel brightest lights? I for one think this game is a much bleaker place with out Mero's shining light to brighten our world. Seldom have I encountered a person as selfless and giving as Merodi. If anyone else out there feels the same as I, give her a reply to let her know she's greatly missed.

I didn't realize that Merodi was gone... O.O
If that's true, then that's really disappointing. :( She was probably the first high-level player to give me a compliment and tell me what a good job I was doing while giving constructive criticism and tips on how to play even better. She's got a heart of gold.

I walked through Windurst for the first time since the holiday stuff started and thought "Damn, I wish Merodi were here to walk around with me" Then, in the spirit of Merodi, I rounded up a few people that I did not even know and went looking at christmas lights... went to Sandi and Basti and even went to jeuno to hear the music. I even got some non-RPers to RP with me!!! Odd to say, cause it isnt like she's dead or anything, but I think that there is a little bit of Merodi in all that know her. I have noticed that she touches everyone she meets and leaves the spirit of kindness in her wake.

Well, I came back to Vana'diel to give a visit, see the sights, and maybe try to get an xp or two. And then I got a letter from Altana saying she doesn't want me back, lol. That letter came in the form of three deaths and an xp pt where in the course of three to four hours, all I have was 1.5k of xp ^^;
Now if that ain't bad luck, I don't know what is. But my pals who spotted me on cheered me up spiffily, so I wasn't too bummed out about the unwelcomed greeting Altana had for me in Vana ^^;
Ah well.. I love you all and miss you muchly. Keep safe, keep happy, and keep smiling. And when I return, I want everyone to buy one or a stack of fireworks (whatever they can afford). I want to plan an outting to Purgonogo Island, and when the sunsets, we are all using the fireworks to light up the sky with our own brand of christmas cheer. So see you there!

Merodi came back to us! I bumped into her at Lower Jeuno while waiting for the teleporter to port. She was just sitting there ;)
