Ok, I got lucky and got a snow day today, I thought I'd be able to seriously start leveling my Paladin. No there was server matenience, stupid me /em slaps his own head. Anyway, now that the stupid server matenience is done (yes I know I can't spell so sue me) stupid game gives me some "There was an error connecting to the server" and of course the PoL site is NO help at all. I stress the NO. Anyway, can someone help me, I can see that my friends are on the server, but the thing keeps giving me a no response error and won't let me download the stupid update to play. Just give me some help please! I want to level ><

Just keep hitting Retry. again and again and again
just go do something else for a few hours... i'll be easier later tonight

The reason is that everyone, not just Bismarck's population, but EVERYONE starts downloading as soon as the servers come back up after maintenance. Understandably so, we are all eager to play.
However, you can only imagine the load created on SE's servers because of this. The direct result of this is the "error connecting to server" messages. Just do as Autechrel said and keep hitting that retry over and over.
I've just resigned myself to waiting for a few hours after server up to get all the updates.
All you fanatics can have the freshly spawned NM's. Savages. ^^

Thanks, I guess its time to mash the living crap out of the retry button...I had it to like 90% earlier then it stopped...stupid servers!!! Anyway, thanks for the help guys.
