First off I would like to thank everybody that helped with the coffer keys last night, it was a good run and we ended up with many keys.
Now to the angry part.
I'm behind gate 3 camping the coffer, there's a lvl 70+ rdm camping it too, right they won't get aggro, will definately get to the coffer before me. I couldn't figure out why a high lvl RDM would even want this coffer. Anyway no big deal, I log on this morning before I go to work, and whalah! coffer!
I was trying to get my Healer's Cap, but what do I pull out of the coffer?
Old Guantlets?????
What? I can pull my BLM AF item while being my WHM?
Crap. So now I realize the RDM was probably working on some other AF gloves quest. Beacause you can pull the damn Guantlets with any job!!! ><

BLM AF gloves are the bomb though so it's still a good thing.
I would have stayed last night to help but I needed to step away from GC after 2 days of key hunting and 2 days of coffer camping.

well, that really sucks...and since the maint is tonight, I may try to get down there for your key, depending on if my set is running/doing Genkai2
but..I owe a big thank you to Autechre, Kalani and Shackelton...I was not expecting to get my Crown last night woohoo just 17K xp and G2 needed before I can wear it

And don't invite a string of people WHILE we are doing it, adding more and more keys needed....ugh. (Not necessarily saying YOU Aut, I know your smart enough not to do this, but NOBODY should invite more key "needers" mid-party).
First time I was down there to help you and Kestra was there I must have came off like a real ***, but that Control guy is one of those sketchy little guys that some people don't see through so easily. He makes funny littles comments here and there and gets task alliances together often so people think he is "nice" but he is a greedy, selfish little fu[b][/b]cker and it gets under my skin. "Where are the Hellmines, where are the Hellmines" 15 damn times after we said over and over we aren't fighting them, he just wouldn't listen or stfu. And to argue that level does not affect drops at all is just insanely stupid. Like I said, kill some Bumblebees at level 2 then kill some at lvl 30 and see wtf I am talking about. We were getting mad key drops for AF keys (like 5 in an hour) til the 70 DRG and 75 WHM came along, ugh.

Word. Thanks for the support guys, we'll see what goes down possibly tonight, although it seems like the updates gonna take about 2 hrs if you can even connect. So tonight may just end up being a pain to get anything organized.
Plus I'm thinkin maybe I'd better go snuff out Dark Spark again first, before I open the coffer again. I'm slightly confused as to where my AF loyalties lay right now :P

I don't know what the deal was, with the drops quitting. The exact same thing happened to us, the second time we went. I don't want to believe this, but... um... my static seems to have a nasty habit of breaking our Thief's TH2. O.o
Anyway, I'll get my chance to rampage through that place at least one more time with Kestra. My pants are in there, someplace.
Oh, and just a side note: If we start going past the Banishing Gates to look for the coffers, when we go past Gate #2, if you're doing the "Making Amens" quest, it would be an excellent opportunity to go all the way to the back and check out the incinerator.
