Sioux the magnificentFollow

Well, I just wanted to tell you one the nicest things someone's done for me in the game so far. This person, as you can tell from the subject line is Sioux. This act of kindness deserved more than a nomination in the 'good-player alert'.

Now, let me set the stage here for what transpired. Earlier in the day i had decided to make a go for lvl 56 and finally getting raise 2. We had started a party and of course, the only person missing was a rdm. So the PLD kept throwing names of people for me to ask with no luck. I do my own /sea all and Sioux's name pops up. I sent her a /t and she graciously accepts to join our group. Ok, your thinking no biggie. That in itself was quite nice. Now Sioux had to leave and I eventually hit 56.

Que 6 hours later. My buddy wanted to get his Necropolis key. I figure i'd tag along and try to get my bell while we're at it. Now we don't have quite the high lvl help we wanted but just enough to kill the bones and shadows with relative ease. Tho everytime one linked we we're left with pretty low hp (being the only mage there it was tough to keep up)

Now the necropolis was crawling with a bunch of elementals that night (as everyone knows they are not fun to kill without any BLM or even RDM). It seems every 10 mins or so we would have to fight one off. In comes Sioux. She was running around searching for a coffer with a buddy of hers. Now we had just started fighting a fallen mage (? possibly, i just remember it was pretty nasty bones) when a earth elemental linked. Now this particular bones loved to do that HP-suck move like it was going out of style. we had it down to 1/4 health when it sucked a ton of HP out of us and he returned to full health. It did this twice. Now at that point i practically had no MP left and this earth elemental is still beating on us. Sioux and her buddy are watching nervously as our HP's are slowly evaporating. There's no way we would survive this elemental. So what does Sioux do, without any thought, pulled the Earth elemental away from our group, moves to a safe distance and get killed by it. Just like that, without a second thought. She knew that we we're gonna be toast if we had to fight it. So she decided to sacrifice her own life to save ours.

Now we've all gone out and died for our party at some point, but what Sioux did was beyond what I have seen anyone do. She went out and died for another group she had nothing to do with. She deserves my eternal gratitude for that self-less act. So I don't care Sioux if you're doing a face plant in the Shadow Lord throne room, you give me a call and I'll come get ya and raise (and then die myself :p). I'll come anytime you need me (unless of course its in Ballista, where i'm gonna have to kick your @ss :)).

She is the Shiznit. Salute her when you see her.

It was ok Vimien, I had a big cushion, others would have done what I did. I couldn't watch you guys just die. ; ;

Thank you, I only lost about 200 exp after the Raise II, I was just glad to have done SOMETHING helpful that night (Hito never did find that box ^^)

Ah ha! The truth is finally out! Sioux is actually a nice person.

All sh*t aside, that was very commendable, Sioux. Definately setting an example for us all.
