All I need is the magicite from Castle Oztroja. I've tried 4 times now on my own and keep getting a) smoked or b) pulling the wrong stupid lever on the first door.
If anyone is going tonight between say 8-10PM EST or tomorrow between 7-11PM EST please.
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. :)

a) Smoked? Sneak/invis your way their...you should get no aggro.
b) You pulled the wrong lever? Warp out, and ride a chocobo for 2 minutes to get back to Castle Oztroja, then try again. There are two levers, so you have a 50/50 chance of getting the right one. It's not like you'll be warping and chocoing all day.

I did sneak/Invis. I got killed when I took the invis off to pull the lever... the links are what took me down... I was a couple levels lower at the time...
As to warp out and ride back, did that too. The problem is this... the levers reset everytime they are pulled, it is possible to go back time and time again and never pick the right one. Of four attempts, the door only opened once, and that's the one that killed me.
I'm not asking for five level 50's to come with me. I'm asking if there are others doing the same thing and can I join, thus helping them too.

Hmm...it sounds like you're just having terrible luck with those levers. I'll help you out tonight. My time will be pretty flexible tonight, but 5pm-7pm works well. I might also be able to do it around 11pm-12pm. Times are EST.
I can hit the lever and if it's the right one, we both go through and head to the Altar Room. If it's the wrong one, I warp out and you hit the other lever. Sound good?

I should be on shortly after five and will head to Oztroja. My char is currently sitting on his *** in S.Sandy bazaaring away. As soon as I'm on I'll grab a chicken and head over. Send me a tell.
I thought there was a torch deeper in too that you have to light next to a Conquistador and a Lutanist?
If so, you'll need help for that, I tried soloing it and died twice in that room before I had to call for backup to come rescue me ^^

I did this myself a couple weeks ago and didn't have to fight any mobs in any of the 3 strongholds after obtaining the Quadav drops with LS help. There were no yagudos anywhere close to the door; same with an LS friend who did several days later.
In any case, hopefully I can get you to that point and if there are any mobs guarding the door, I'll either help you kill them or, if they prove to hard, keep them busy long enough for you to get through the door.
There's a little trick with those doors. If you turn the lever and run away right as it starts to turn, you can avoid falling down if you choose the wrong lever. Very handy if you're in a hurry.
Maikeru also mentioned that to me but I didn't get a chance to test it.

I decided to speed things up... so I left work drove home, got a chicken rode to jeuno, set hp in Port and drove back to work.
Damn it's nice to work 2 mins from home! :)

I can actually help with this.. I'm level 60, so the mobs are no sweat. You really won't need to drop invis at all. Just send me a /tell when you get online and I'll head to Oztroja.
I see how it is. Being the first to offer to help is trumped by being the highest-level player to offer to help. ;P
I lucked out. Someone went through the doors ahead of me and I saw what the right lever was :-)
