You just.. have to check this out.

It wasn't just that all 6 of us had leveled at the same time, but also the chain 5 that came along with it:

We weren't done though.. about an hour later:

And.. another hour later, sadly, we didn't have all 6 level at the same time ; ; It was a depressing scene:

Times like these remind me why I play this game. I love my set.

Nothing beats the hexadinger along with chain 5 for 300 xp. ^^
Such a great xp pt which is the only reason I really still play this game. Unreal xp per hour.

Grats guys. You're all disgustingly good, and it makes me cry.

I vote Brock for MVP of your party.

Samurai with a subligar. Incredibly Tough!

i wear the subligar for the tarus, but Jwb seems to be the one it attracts the most. This is definitely the most fun i have had exping in this game. I also love the set ^^. Oh yeah Byaina you and me Ballista, FEAR THE SUBLIGAR.

I get the feelin' in about two weeks they'll have out-leveled me >.>

I'm glad y'all can still find the things that you love about this game. A lot of people seemed to have lost that. {Good job!}

Thought I would put my own in here:)

DragonArmy static all waited to turn in their G2 items so that I could catch up in XP to them, here was our first fight afterwards ^^

Wintaru, doesn't hanging on a Genkai and getting a hexadinger count as cheating?
#16 Nov 29 2004 at 2:46 PM Rating: Good
Possibly, but I thought I needed to recognize what good people Catgirl, Yoshinaka, Verdigo, Feroh, and Audion are that they would be willing to do that for me and this seemed a good place to do so :)

I think Audion also posted you guys on AD's website. Very nice, Wintaru! What does your group consist of?

Jwb - I think I still have my puller instincts kicking in. After leveling RNG to 61 and THF to 64, it just comes natural. Primetime and I can cover a lot of ground with 2 pullers, and plus.. I just like to pull.

Byaina - Our (yours and mine) set was just as talented. I'm glad that I get to play in a set that has the exact same jobs as ours. We totally exploit our jobs' strengths - the SAMs ability to SC and make others much better, the THFs ability to deal great damage while controlling hate, and the NINs ability to tank virtually damage-free. Mazrim, I promise we'll give you some work to do =)

Well, since the genkai hanging wasn't specifically for a hexadinger, I'll give you partial credit. Smiley: tongue

I might be persuaded to award full credit if you bribe me with a cookie. >.>

Me - WHM
Audion - PLD
Catgirl - MNK
Yoshinaka - RDM
Verdigo - DRG
Feroh - BLM

Pretty much the perfect group setup. If you are in pickup parties at this level I would suggest snapping up any MNK's you can find, there are days when Catgirl out damages Feroh ^^

Here you go Nata :)

That's when you catch up on your sleep. Or when you set up Ventrilo/TeamSpeak to talk to your LS or the party. ^^;

That looks great chops. Makes me miss my set bad and now I cant find a new one. But I never got 300 exp (pre 50) so your pt setup must be great. what is it?

Me - Bard
Primetime - Thief
Brock - Samurai
Jwb - Ninja
Mazrim - White Mage
Duwienator - Black Mage

We all have the best equipment, which helps out too. I believe Brock and Jwb are both wearing peacock charms and ochiudos kotes, and snipers rings for the melee are ready to go at level 40. I personally don't feel all this stuff is worth the price tag that is placed on them, but we don't have much else to spend our gil on. It helps, but our gear is only a small fraction of the success.

The jobs are really complementary, and they require more attention than just whacking away with a weapon. The key to our success is skillchaining and hate management, since we don't have any of the ideal big-hitter jobs such as RNG, DRK, MNK, WAR, or DRG. A good skillchain will take a 200 EXP IT mob to about 1/2 health or less. It's too bad more pick-up parties don't take advantage of this.

We'll be at the West-East Altepa zone tonight at around 8:00 PM EST if anyone wants to say hi =) I've seen quite a few familiar faces, since that area has a lot of Teleport-Altep to Rabao traffic.
