Politely Do Nothing=GM"sFollow

I having been recently trying to afford my chararcter's requirements by farming. What a joke this is. I can not compete with the Jerrys, the Spples and the other gilfarmers. 7 gilfarmers where farmers farming Goobbues in Zitah today.
When is SE gonna realize that they are loosing major money from people quitting the game because SE has lost control of the botters. Everyone call a GM when you see the botters/farmers and find out what their response is. SE needs to wake up because there is other systems and other games out there. We are being hit where it hurts with the gilfarmers in our accts, maybe SE needs to have the same before they do anything about the trash that is stinking up the game. Every time someone leaves the game they should send an e-mail to SE and type in suggestion as the topic, so it does not get filtered.

Don't take us the wrong way, its just that we've been over this subject several times, and there are a number of semi-active threads down the list that might provide you with some solace. Because we are all quite sick of gil-sellers.

But as Mazrim stated, farming is certainly not against the rules; regardless of gil-sellers' extracuricular activities stomping goobues for moss is perfectly allowable under the TOS, whether you do it by yourself or in tandem with an entire pt, regardless of how long you're there (even several days, as gil-sellers might do).

If they are harrassing you, trying to MPK you, etc, that is a different matter, and at this point a GM should be called.

My advice would be to seak alternative methods of procurring gil, or to return to Zi'tah with a posse to help you out.

I used to farm goobbues too. What you need is a fast way to claim like Provoke or Flash or Stun. Kill something and keep track of the death time. Come back to the spawning spot at the exact momement that the goobbue will repop (7-8 min for goobbue). And just goto the following spot for next immediate spawn. Smart gil farmers will try to follow you around and claim your stuff. That's why you need a way for fast claim.

Try farming at fullmoon/lightsday for best chance of item drops.

There are too many competitions farming atm, regardless of the gil farmers. You should try fishing or other tradeskills for a steady stream of income. Farming will only give you a quick buck and will not solve your money problems in the long run.

they aren't thats the problem, ok 3 people quit because of botters and meanwhile 5 new botters join.

(3*12.95) < (5*12.95) = SE doesn't care since they are making just as much money.

*NOT PRACTICAL, JUST A DREAM*
I'd like to see all the bot fishers and gil sellers get moved to one server. Who'd buy all those rare drops? It'd be hilarious.

Though I generally don't farm to make my money, when I do I go to Zi'tah. It is fairly easy to get a path going where every spawn time you will get at least a few Gobbues, and it is not very hard to grab them before others do. If you have having probelms with being outclaimed, then something like provoke would be necessary, but most of the time that doesn't seem to happen (to me at least).

Also, the jerrys or any other group killing all of the gobbues is not against the ToS or anything, a GM should not do anything unless they have been training stuff to you or have been harassing you in other ways (if they have been harassing you the GM will most likely just say /blist).
