Id love too, when, if, hopefully when I get back... *sighs* As a side note here is my character's history:
Yukio was born to a noble father and young peasant mother. His father's family, having disowned his father upon the marriage, were lost in the pages of geneaology. His mother was an orphan taken in by the church and trained in the ways of the White Mage.
Yukio was brought up in San d'Oria and used all of the Ronfaure region as his stomping grounds as it were. If in trouble or just wanting to get away from everyone he was often found hidding near Knightwell claiming, "Its just so peaceful and beautiful here." That however was before the war.
When the beastmen rose up and united against the peoples of Vana'diel, Yukio's parents were called to battle. His mother was sent with the same elite unit his father (a renowned Ranger) was in. Yukio in turn was left with an "uncle" of his who just happened to be a retired Red Mage.
The war consumed the land, death swept the world and lives were lost to its rampage. Yukio's parents were killed enroute to a battlefront by an Orcish ambush. Yukio fled his "uncles" home when his mother's and father's effects were brought to him. He disappeared for days into Ronfaure woods.
A week later Yukio returned to his "uncle's" house in San d'Oria, he carried with him a few Orcish effects. His happy demeanor was gone and replaced with a stern faced young man. He delved deep into his uncle's books swearing quietly to learn the means to avenge his parents. His studies into the art of Red Magic consumed him, so much in fact that his uncle contacted the church and had a preist visit Yukio. The preist helped Yukio calm himself and focus more on study for the good of all Vana'diel instead of study for the sake of revenge. However this triggered an almost uncontrolable thirst for knowledge and perfection within him.
As the years carried by he studied; swordplay, white magic, black magic, red magic, archery, defense, theivery, music, the beasts, the stars and numerous other things. Yukio was striving to master all possible adventuring aspects.
Finally settling on the flexibility of Red Mage, Yukio took his uncle's rapier in hand, donned his father's old gear, wore the rings of his mother and set off inti Vana'diel to avenge the land of the attrocities that the war had left behind.
lmk what you think
