Bad mood...ApologiesFollow

Ok so here it is.

I go to Qufim to level my BLM, I'm already in a bad mood because my computer has decided to go haywire and won't let me online (incidentally I play on PS2). So I have no access to Alla (AAARGH). So I get a party and head to the tower.

About 45 minutes in some guy (can't remember his name) starts shout-spamming "24rdm/11blm lfg blah blah blah". When I say spamming i mean it too. One after another. Now I know I coulda just filtered it or been polite, but I say "???? STFU". A couple seconds go by, someone informs the spammer he has been blisted. The spammer then sends an incredibly rude shout directed at me calling into question my manhood amongst other things. My response?
"You're a funny little pissant aren't you, welcome to me blist too.", and I blist him. So yeah, being in a bad mood already, this little thing actually bugged me.

This is where I did something I wished I hadn't. After the party broke up, I'm in the tower resting my MP. and one of the party members is asking for help getting out of Qufim. The rest of the party has already left. He sends a tell, requesting help and I say, "Sorry, I don't walk outta here." *WARP* I get back to Jeuno and go AFK. Later I find a tell. "Please help me." I felt bad but it was too late by that point, I'd been AFK for like 30 min.

So, to the little prick that was spamming last night...
I'm sorry I was rude to you, but you're still blisted. One, because you'll always be a spammer. Two, because you could have ignored me. But that would have been mature.

To Casey, Dude I'm sorry, I shoulda walked you out. Forgive me please. I won't do it again, I swear.

If anyone thinks I was a (insert choice flame word/phrase here). Please don't let it become your final judgement on me. I'm really a nice person, and I do like to help... I just had a bad day.

lol I love when people are like "Welcome to my /blist hahahahahaaha" like it's actually going to hurt that person's feelings. If someone /blist me I would just /em and type what I want from there ^^

That's ok Omni, I'm sorta of the same OP when it comes to blist, that was the first time I've done it........ But, I figured I'd let him know so he didn't keep spammin insults.

Well, at least you have the marbles to publicly announce your fault to the entire community of Allakhazam. Bravo.

The person who informed him he was b-listed was me.

That guy knew what he was doing, it was rude, and deserved to be shoved on people's b-list for excessive *and i mean EXCESSIVE* spamming.

Also i noticed someone had said "why not just turn on shot filter instead of b-list" or something to that extent. While that might be a good idea in some cases, this was qufim, the land of aggro-zoning and having /shout going can give life saving warnings.

Being angry is fine Garan, just don't take it off on the non-pissants. ;(

Best thing to do is try to apologize to those caught in harms way. :D
