No kidding, I think someone has been reading all this and decided to give us crap, might be time to put the gil seller threads to rest. I heard there was a person in Jueno last night shouting that he had Gil for sale >.<

Then I was sitting there crunching the numbers of moat carp needed for Lu Shangs...833 stacks o.O Or 3.2 million worth of carp...good God... -.-

The big thing about that rod is it allows you to catch a wider range of fish without having the rod break.

For example, you can catch more moat carp with a carbon rod, but in most places that rod can be snapped. You can use a composite rod, but you will get messages saying the fish was too small for that rod. With a Lu Shang's you can get the best of both.

Man I wish I was on that boat, those rods are 3mil. I think I'll be waiting to get mine, I can repair carbon rods easily and soon I'll be able to repair composite as well so breaks aren't as big of a deal. Plus I won't have to level woodworking to repair the lu shang.

Well it helps you catch more fish = more money.

Also you get a Key Item for fishing that is supposed to help with fishing skill. From everyone I know who has one they say it's definately worth it.

I'll probably have to wait, need Raise II first >.<
