a guy in my LS was offered something like that by that same guy...and if Im not mistaken he has posted on here before, though karma took him out pretty quick

Thank Altana I'm jaded and ignore people like this. Or simply sent them the old {No thanks} to their scamming.

Haha ^^; Crazy ridiculous people.. I've never personally had that experience, but I've heard stories. I wonder if anyone's fell for it :)

Libien and Savont have posted here before about how they're scammers and thieves that work together and that they enjoy it. They're also mentioned on the former bad players thread for stealing 50k from someone among other scams.

Awww I wish he tried it with me. I would of happily replied with this-

"Ok it's a deal but hold on, let me get my leaping boots and hairpin for you that look like an insect wing and bronze leggings due to a corrupted file"

Seriously, anyone who knows anything about computers would know that this is dumb. It's not a corrupted image file - the amount of gil is displayed as text.

At least Squeenix got the trade system right from the get-go. I can't recall how many problems and exploits that were developed out of the trade systems in Diablo (the good ol' "Throw stuff on the ground and run" system) and Diablo II...

Ooer congrats on Sage status! My name has yet to be turned red, but maybe one day. I keep hoping for it. ^^

But on another note, that person sure is daring, only a fool would fall for that!

Unfortunatly, Savont has been running scams like that for a long time, i remember way back when the Casinos were popping up everywhere, he was in Sandoria trying to do one.. One of my friends got ahold of me, and told me to go make a fool out of some guy named Savont, because he was trying to run shop in Sandoria and i should go show him how it is done or whatever..


So when i get there and approach him, he is like ooo ooo Hiptaru!!! play my game!!! and i hear all these people complaining about how he is a scam, so i decide not to help him out.. so i say.. sure, i will make a bet.. so i bet 1 gil.. hehe and rolled and won... he still didnt even pay out on a 1 gil bet.. I mean, whats the point of playing a game if your not gonna do anything but scam people..

I mean, i ran a casino for a long time, and made alot of gil, but at least i got my character to level 61.. most of the people i see running casinos havent even got thier subjobs or anything.. People like Savont make me sick, because the resort to scamming and being a thief to get thier gil and i think that the next time i see him, i am going to give him a taste of his own medicine...

If anybody sees Savont running around, be sure to /slap them a few times, i know i will, after i put his dumbarse onto my Blist..

I'm adding this guy to my gil farmers list. And we all know how much we love gil farmers. Hmmm XD
