I was fishing the other day in South Gustenburg off the cliffs when I noticed the guy beside me pulled up a monster. 1 minute passed by and he was still casting with this monster wailing on him. Had to be a fish botter so I asked a buddy what should I do Let this guy die or call a GM. He was loosing HP's very slowly so I called a GM gave them his name and everything. 10 mins passed the mob was still wailing on him. He got to a sliver of HP's then I guess he came back to him Computer and killed the mob. Here's how the convo went

Botter: Grrrr
Me: I guess you shouldn't be fish botting hey?
Botter: I was only a way for a few minutes washing dishes.
Me: lol I don't think that matters it's still botting.
Botter: Why didn't you kill the mob for me?

HAHAHAHA! What a tool

Got a reply from the GM 15 Mins later saying they'le look into it.

I would have left him to die too. I dun care if you're sitting at the PC doing nothing else, don't have a BOT running. The rest of us have to work for our fishing levels, why can't they?

i let botters die and i enjoy watching it. I think there getting smarted tho, like leveling there toons up a little bit (lets be honest 1-10 is a few hours work) then they can get beat on a little longer by mobs they fish up. Saw two bots in South Gusta today, both getting beat on by crabs, both taking a LONG time to die.

Heh, what I do if im bored is switch to my Ninja in Jeuno, then go to Qufim and find a colony of botters. I say in /say mode: "<hello!> <fishing> <program>?" no response... "<excuse me...> <fishing> <program>?" still no reply... then "<train> <fishing> <program>". I wait until dark, grab a banshee or wight, then right next to them I <Mijin Gakure> and let the mob take care of business. God I love that ability...
