First of all what is a Dynamis? Can someone explain it to me, just a decent generalization would do fine. And how exactly do you get a Perpetual Hourglass? Someone said that you traded 1,000,000 gil to a "Trail Markings" thing. Well, I have a perpetual hourglass from a friend that's really rich and he quit, since I'm really poor and wanted to start up a Ranger class with good equipment, I was going to sell my perpetual hourglass for like 500,000, but I'm not really sure if it's really worth 1,000,000 to obtain it from the Trail markings.

Could someone help me out here?

Thanks

I hope your friend didn't make you pay for that hourglass. It's not any use to you until you hit 75, and that's only if its timer hasn't run out.

Dynamis is an area full of HNMs. You use a perpetual hourglass to go in at 75, with a 64-person alliance, and you have at it.

Actually, you have to be 65 to enter a Dynamis area; however the lower of level you are, the more likely it is you will die, and die several times. A lot of the stuff in the Dynamis areas are only good for 70+ people anyway. There you'll find your AF2 equipment (not AF1-2, which is different), relic weapons which can be upgraded into the "ultimate" weapons, cursed items that need to be uncursed with other special items so as to be usable, and the like. Mind you, I've never done a Dynamis, but I've read a bit about them and have 90% confidence that I've listed the good stuff. ^^

Everyone do yourself a favor, go over to Mystertour, click on Dynamis, and start reading from the top to the bottom.

Also, go to DynamisCatAttack, dca.eleventeenth.com, and read up on what it is. If more people were interested about raiding, there could be more options on raid times during the week.

Ok, since I'm never really going to use it (I can't decide on a main job GD it!!!) I was trying to sell it in Jeuno with the /shout Selling a Perpetual Hourglass /tell with offer, but some people did /shout Its a scam, /shout yeah!!1 that kind of crap... Just wanted to know why, I don't scam because I'm completely against it ever since i got caught on d2 scamming like half my server...dif story. Anyway, why do they say its a scam and how can I convince people its not? I got it from a friend who's loaded who actually got it legit. Mind helping me out a little bit here?

Thanks as always

Some people try to scam others who don't know about Dynamis and hourglasses.

The hourglass your friend gave you is useless. Perpetual Hourglasses are hourglasses that have been "activated", so to speak. They have a timer counting down on them, and once that time has elapsed the item becomes completely useless, and no longer provides access to Dynamis.

That's why you got that reaction in Jeuno.

My recommendation would be not to worry about everyone in Jeuno calling you a conartist. =P Just a misunderstanding.
